“Lane Hutson and Ivan Demidov have the attitude of Tom Brady”
The Habs players and management set the tone at last week’s golf tournament: the goal is to make the playoffs. Although young, Ivan Demidov and Lane Hutson will be the cornerstones of the team’s success, and they seem ready for the role when you look at their attitude on the ice. They arrive before the others, are hungry to learn and even get angry in practice when things go wrong. In short, they have an attitude that few have in professional sports. It’s quite similar to what you hear from Sidney Crosby, who is a notch above everyone else in terms of his preparation. Maxim Lapierre, contributor to The Sick Podcast, compared their attitude to that of none other than Tom Brady.
Maxim Lapierre: “Hutson and Demidov, it doesn’t make sense. They’re so skilled, so fast, but so passionate… They have the Tom Brady attitude “#GoHabsGo #thesickpodcast @TonyMarinaro @Lappy14 pic.twitter.com/J9pTRrB1A6

“I’ve skated with a lot of NHL players in my life. Lane Hutson and Ivan Demidov, it doesn’t make sense. They’re so talented, so fast, but above all, so passionate. They love hockey, they just talk about hockey. They have the Tom Brady attitude.”

[content-ads] He also compared them to Crosby, who, when he misses a shot during a practice, will make sure to stay after to work on it. Lapierre added a very interesting point. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen players like Hutson and Demidov in Montreal. With their attitude, they’ll push their teammates to excel and can get angry when things go wrong. If, for the time being, they seem to be silent leaders in the dressing room, over the years they may become more vocal and really lead the way. For now, they’re doing it with attitude and talent, and in the first two warm-up games, they once again stood out from the crowd. They really seem to be on another level when they jump on the ice.[spacer title=’En rafale’] – New podcast available.
