Nicole Kidman Confirms Engagement

Although it hadn’t been confirmed previously, the news was hardly a secret.  The 38 year-old actress had been refusing to comment on her private life, and has now decided to come clean about her relationship with Urban.  Tuesday, while at a charity dinner in New York, a reporter asked who her friend was.  She responded by saying, "He’s actually my fiance."

The two were first seen together last July.  In November, Kidman was photographed with a diamond ring on her left hand, which began the rumours of wedding plans.  Urban, 38, is also from Australia.
