Olivia Newton-John dead at 73: John Travolta, Kate Hudson and many celebrities react

Olivia Newton-John, the star of Grease and four-time Grammy winner, has died. She was 73 years old.

Olivia Newton-John‘s husband, John Easterling, released a statement on Monday, August 8, confirming her death – saying she « passed away peacefully at her Southern California ranch this morning, surrounded by family and friends. »

« We ask that everyone respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time, » he added.

While no cause of death has been disclosed, a source told TMZ « that after a 30-year journey with cancer, she lost her battle with breast cancer. »
