Penelope Cruz Denies Rumours

Since her separation from actor Matthew McConaughey in 2006, Cruz has been rumoured to be in the arms of several men.  The actress has been linked to Orlando Bloom, Josh Hartnett, and most recently, Bardem.

The star of the films Volver, Vanilla Sky and Sahara, among others, hates to talk about her private life, but did say, "I don’t read most of what is written about me."

Regarding the rumours that Cruz is involved with Bardem, her co-star from a Woody Allen film, she said, "It’s not true. He’s a friend and the best actor in the world."
