Premier concert pour le supergroupe Prophets of Rage

Prophets of Rage, formé de membres de Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill et Public Enemy, a donné son tout premier spectacle mardi soir (31 mai) à Los Angeles, au Whisky A Go Go.

L’événement a été complètement vendu en quelques minutes mardi. Les billets se détaillaient à 20$ chacun.

Un autre spectacle est déjà prévu ce vendredi, cette fois au Hollywood Palladium.

Les membres de Rage Against the Machine n’en sont pas à leur premier supergroupe. En 2001, des membres avaient uni leurs forces avec le chanteur Chris Cornell, anciennement de Soundgarden, pour former Audioslave.

Cette fois, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford et Brad Wil ajoutent B Real, de Cypress Hill, ainsi que Chuck D et DJ Lord de Public Enemy.
