Sloan To Release New Disc

The new album from the quartet, Never Hear the End of It, will be in stores in just a few weeks.  Recording in only 30 days, it is preceded by the single Who Taught You to Live Like That.

The band’s eighth album includes 30 tracks.  Singer/guitarist Jay Ferguson explained why there are so many songs.  He said, "We are four individual singers/songwriters."

Ferguson added, "You don’t get stuck in one sound for very long, yet we’re always pleasantly surprised that the whole thing still hangs together cohesively.”

Sloan has been together as a band for fifteen years.  The band will be opening for the Rolling Stones in their home town of Hallifax, Canada.  Last January, Sloan opened for the Rolling Stones and Boston.
