Spice Girls Rumours Confirmed
Simon Fuller, the man in charge of creating the famous girl group, and Judy Craymer, the woman behind the success of the musical Mamma Mia!, have announced that they will be teaming up to make a musical show in honour of Britain’s Spice Girls.
The musical will highlight the big moments of the group’s career, which was flaming hot in the 90s and resulted in album sales exceeding 75 million copies.
As expected, the show will debut in London in two years, and may next cross the Atlantic to grace the stages of Broadway.
Despite the fact that the Spice Girls split while still in their glory days, in 2001, they still hold major market value. In 2007-2008, the girls embarked on a world tour, playing sold-out shows.
