The People’s Choice Awards

The 33rd annual awards gala was held on Tuesday, and crowned the second installment of the pirate series a winner.

Actor Johnny Depp earned the titles of best actor, best actor in an action film and best couple, along with co-star Keira Knightley.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest was chosen best film and best drama.

The event, which recognizes winners chosen by the public, also honoured Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Rascall Flatts, Nickelback, Justin Timberlake, Eva Longoria and Patrick Dempsey.
