According to IOL, Blur is currently working on new material and plan to enter a recording studio next November.

The Parklife and Song 2 singers never officially announced their separation, but have not released any music since the 2003 disc Think Tank.

Damon Albarn, the band’s singer, has since had success with the bands Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad and The Queen.
