Maguire, the star of the Spider-Man films, and his fiancee, jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, became parents of a little girl last Thursday in Los Angeles.

Meyer, 29, and the 31 year-old actor have been dating since 2003.  Despite their engagement, the two have not announced a wedding date.
