Cocktail lovers and those looking for summer outings can now add a new spot to their list. The Dominion Bar is opening its summer terrace in downtown Montreal, offering a welcoming space to enjoy warm evenings just steps from the Bell Centre.
Open daily from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. weather permitting, the terrace welcomes guests with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for everything from a drink with coworkers to an evening with friends before or after an event.
Patrón Margaritas Take Center Stage on the New Summer Menu
To mark this opening, Bar Dominion is unveiling a selection of cocktails specially designed for the summer season. Tequila takes center stage with a menu of Patrón margaritas available in three flavors: Classic, Strawberry, and Passion Fruit.
The cocktails are available on the rocks or chilled, allowing guests to choose their preferred way to enjoy these refreshing drinks. The bar also offers several other light creations that feature carefully selected ingredients and an approachable take on mixology.
A Major Accolade for the Bar Dominion Team
The opening of the patio marks a particularly positive period for Bar Dominion, which recently climbed to 37th place in the Canada’s 100 Best Bars ranking—a distinction that highlights the talent of its team and its approach to hospitality.
Behind the bar are Pablo Rojas, known for his work at Provisions and Edicola, and Andrew Whibley, co-owner of the Cloakroom Bar, recently named the best bar in Canada. Together, they aim to create a place where guests can enjoy both the quality of the cocktails and the overall experience.
“Our goal has always been to create a place where people enjoy gathering—as much for the quality of the cocktails as for the atmosphere. With the opening of the patio, we wanted to offer a space where people can fully enjoy summer in downtown Montreal, while continuing to share our vision of hospitality and mixology,” explain the co-owners.
A Summer Menu Featuring Seafood and Tavern Classics
Beyond cocktails, Bar Dominion also offers a menu designed to complement evenings on the terrace. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes to share, including seafood and classics inspired by classic taverns.
On the menu: fresh oysters, tartares, shrimp cocktail, burgers, and other hearty dishes that work just as well for an appetizer as for a full meal.
