Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has revealed that Mark Zuckerberg may have tried to lure some of his employees with bonuses of up to several million dollars, in a bid to recruit them for the « superintelligent » AI project that Meta recently unveiled.
OpenAI boss accuses Meta of trying to poach staff with $100m sign-on bonuses
In a discussion on the future of AI on the podcast hosted by his brother Jack Altman, Sam Altman pointed out that the race to develop artificial intelligence had, in his opinion, taken a turn completely out of proportion.

In particular, he cited Meta’s recent attempt to poach some of its key employees by offering them gigantic bonuses of up to $100 million.
He took the opportunity to openly denounce this approach, warning that such a recruitment method could foster a toxic culture in an under-pressure, fast-growing technology sector.

Altman says he is fortunate that none of his employees appear, so far, to have given in to Meta’s offers.

While Zuckerberg is deploying considerable resources, from huge investments to offensive recruitment, to catch up in the AI race with his « superintelligence » project, Altman adopts a more measured stance: in his opinion, the real impact of AI may well not justify the scale of the investments involved.
A video has gone viral on social networks, starring RFK Jr.

The video shows U.S. Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. emerging from a tanning salon at the Palm Beach Tan chain, surrounded by his security team.

For many Internet users, the scene illustrates a profound irony: seeing a senior public health official frequenting an establishment associated with the risks associated with UV exposure raises questions about the consistency of his image and health messages.
Others point out that RFK Jr. questions the safety of vaccines, while seeming to regard artificial rays as safe, even though studies have clearly established a link between indoor tanning and an increased risk of skin cancer, particularly melanoma.

There’s no doubt that the US Health Secretary’s contradictory messages, often criticized for their inconsistency and dubious theories, have fueled controversy since his appointment by Donald Trump.
Furious, Trump unloads on Fox News
Fox News, long considered Donald Trump’s channel of choice, seems to have lost some of its popularity with the former president, not least because of its recent reporting on internal polls deemed unflattering to him.
The president has escalated his rhetoric against the press in recent months, claiming Fox News and other pollsters are “negative criminals.”
In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump sharply criticized their latest polls, claiming that this is precisely why his supporters don’t like Fox News.

Trump has sharply criticized a recent Fox News poll revealing mixed views on his presidency: 53% approve of his handling of border security, but as many disapprove of his migration policies, while his results on the economy (40% approve vs. 58% disapprove) and inflation (34% vs. 64%) are judged even more negatively.
In response, Trump sharply criticized the TV network, calling its polls « crooked FoxNews Polls ».

The president then sharply criticized previous Fox News polls, accusing the network of being biased against him for years and claiming that he had largely won the election beyond their predictions: « I hate FAKE pollsters, » he said.
Trump also criticized the fact that he is only credited with just over 50% approval on the border, when, in his words, « the border is perfect ».

Although Trump claims his supporters hate Fox News, he took the opportunity to compliment his favorite hosts, declaring, « That’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews, even though their anchors are EXCELLENT. »
Another of Donald’s contradictions…
