Donald Trump appears drowsy for several minutes, visibly fighting sleep.

The images of the president, who will turn 79 in June, showing him on the verge of dozing off, his head sometimes falling forward, sometimes backward, or struggling to open his little eyes, quickly set social networks ablaze.

Many were quick to point out the irony of the scene, recalling that Trump once referred to Joe Biden as « Sleepy Joe ».

For others, this episode adds to a series of similar moments seen over the last few months.

Two fighter jets, an F/A-18F Super Hornet and an F/A-18E Super Hornet, were recently lost in the Red Sea while operating from the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, as part of a series of worrying incidents on the heels of operations against the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

On April 28, an F/A-18E Super Hornet was lost at sea while being towed onto the deck of the aircraft carrier.

While the USS Harry S. Truman was the target of a Houthi missile and drone attack, a sudden evasive maneuver by the tractor towing the fighter caused the aircraft and vehicle to fall into the sea, causing minor injuries to a crew member.

On May 6, just a few days later, another fighter jet fell into the sea from the aircraft carrier, this time due to a failure of undetermined origin that prevented the arresting system from functioning properly during the landing of an F/A-18F Super Hornet.

This second incident also resulted in minor injuries, as both pilots had to eject before the aircraft hit the water.

In December, an F/A-18F was accidentally hit by an SM-2 missile fired from the cruiser USS Gettysburg, a member of the same battle group as the Truman. Both pilots survived. In February, the USS Truman collided with a freighter near the Suez Canal, causing a breach above the waterline. The ship’s captain was relieved of his command.

The loss of three fighter jets in less than six months, combined with a collision at sea and a fratricidal firing incident, raises questions about the safety of operations aboard the Truman. These events come against a backdrop of heightened tensions in the Red Sea, where US forces are engaged in complex and dangerous operations.

Information about this mysterious sequel has just leaked out, thanks to a blunder on the part of NBC Universal. In fact, they accidentally revealed the title of the next Mario Bros. film in an official press release.

The film in question would be called « Super Mario World ».

This is a reference to the legendary Mario Bros. video game, which already bears this name. The document in question was subsequently modified, via an update, leaving no trace of the film in question.

The second installment in this series will also feature the long-awaited arrival of Yoshi, another key character in this universe, in another nod to the original video game.

Expect the return of several well-known names to play these famous characters, including Chris Pratt (Mario) and Jack Black (Bowser).

Nintendo has also announced the arrival of « The Legend of Zelda » movie, scheduled for 2027.

Leo XIV is known for a peculiarity that has been the talk of the town: he is an American. More precisely, he was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 14, 1955 (age 69).

With this in mind, another interesting fact was revealed about one of Leon XIV’s areas of interest: he is a fan of the Chicago White Sox. This city is renowned for its sportsmanship, and clearly, the new Pope has immersed himself in the dynamics of his hometown. That said, he has made it clear that he is in no way a fan of the Cubs, Chicago’s other baseball club, as rumors had it.

Incidentally, a clip involving the Pope has been circulating on the Web since his enthronement, showing him at Game 1 of the 2005 World Series, involving « his » White Sox against the Houston Aeros.
