A video of a Jeffrey Epstein deposition from March 17, 2010 recently resurfaced, relayed by MeidasTouch and reported by HuffPost, in which Epstein is questioned about his ties to Donald Trump.
Socialized
In the video, Epstein is asked whether he had a "personal relationship" with Donald Trump and whether they had ever socialized together.
"Yes, sir"
To these questions, the fallen financier and convicted sex offender replied: "Yes, sir".
The other question
After again answering in the affirmative when asked to confirm his answer, Epstein is asked a more specific question.
"in the presence of females under the age of 18"
He was then asked if these moments of socialization with Donald Trump had involved the presence of young girls under the age of 18: "Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18?"
The Fifth (and the Sixth and Fourteenth)
Epstein then responds enigmatically, stating: "Though I'd like to answer that question...", only to invoke his Fifth, Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment rights not to answer.
A controversy
