A Chicago woman reveals how an electrician made her feel extremely uncomfortable when he told her something completely shocking, out of the blue.

In a viral video, Lexi (@lexxiii01) spills the tea on what the electrician exactly said. And he needed to use a translator app to get his message across.

Her TikTok starts out with Lexi sharing that her outlet in her bedroom needed to be fixed. While servicing the apartment, her electrician asks Lexi if he can use her bathroom.

She reluctantly agrees.

“I noticed as I was cleaning things, I left my vibrator out sitting on my shower ledge,” she shares.

She realizes this and decides to leave it there as the electrician is directly standing right behind her while she cleans.

“He was waiting for me. So I couldn’t grab it because he would’ve seen me grab it. So I left it,” she says.

‘I Feel Really Weird’

While working on the electric outlet in her bedroom, the electrician keeps turning around to look at Lexi. She begins to spiral thinking the electrician saw the vibarator.

“He totally saw it and now I feel really weird,” she says.

She continues to keep minding her own business while he works. Then the electrician decides to shoot his shot.

“I think he speaks Russian. He got out his little translator… he translated ‘I think you are very beautiful.’” she shares.

Lexi awkwardly replies with a thank-you but is clearly uncomfortable by this. The electrician finishes cleaning up the work area and decides to translate another message.

“He talks into his phone or whatever and then he shows it to me. It says, ‘This might be really strange but I think you are really beautiful. I want to kiss you if that’s OK,’” she reveals.

This threw Lexi off and she ended the video with, “This is my electrician. I don’t know what to do.”

One TikTok commenter asked “Soooooo did you????”

“I did unfortunately pass on the offer but what a story that would’ve been,” Lexi replied back.

Her TikTok has generated more than 45,000 views as of this writing.

Same Script As All Those Other Movies

Amid viewer response to her video, Lexi revealed that adult companies reached out to her for partnership opportunities.

“No hate to the industry whatsoever. I was just really shocked when they were in my DMs saying you would be a perfect fit for this. I don’t talk about that stuff online guys,” she shares.

While shutting down those assumptions, the intention of the video was to share how the electrician overstepped his professional boundaries.

“He made me feel uncomfortable in my own home, and I don’t think that’s OK,” she says.

What To Do If A Maintenance Worker Makes An Inappropriate Comment

Having someone in your own home making advances while doing a maintenance request is certainly uncomfortable. This can be considered sexual harassment.

Anytime an unwelcome comment revolves around someone’s appearance, the victim can file a complaint and seek protection. To do this rightfully, evidence needs to be documented. Gathering records of the incidents should include time and place, any messages, or witnesses involved to build the case.

Documentation is always essential when filing.

“Document everything. Record, get witness statements. Then call 1-800-669-4000 the EEOC to file for sexual harassment. This is your leverage against the leasing company,” one Reddit user posted.

The company who hired the maintenance worker should be notified, too.

“Call the company and complain immediately. That is not okay… he is on the job. Gotta stay professional,” one viewer replied.

“I did tell my building and they are taking care of it immediately, super thankful for how they’re handling the situation,” she responded.

While there is nothing funny about sexual harassment, some viewers in the comments section thought otherwise.
