Did this ex-boxer move 1G$ of cocaine?

Goran Gogic, former heavyweight boxer, is formally accused of cocaine trafficking, as he would be involved in a transport that would amount to more than one billion dollars!

Authorities are talking about roughly 20 tons of cocaine, according to the Department of Justice of the United States, via a press release.

Gogic would have set up a team with the aim of transporting this large quantity of “coke” to Europe from Colombia via the United States using commercial freighters.

The arrest was made Sunday night at an international airport in Miami, as the ex-boxer was boarding a flight.

He is facing three charges under the Maritime Drug Law Enforcement Act, in addition to one charge of conspiracy.

In the event of a conviction, the mandatory minimum sentence would be ten years and it could even go up to life in prison.

“The seizure of a billion dollars worth of cocaine was a major blow to Gogic’s criminal network, but nothing could be heavier than his arrest last night,” said Frank A. Tarentino III, a special agent in charge of New York’s drug trafficking division.

Recall that Gogic boxed professionally from 2001 to 2012, compiling a 21-4-2 record during that decade.

The two women inherited the NHL club following the death of their father last March at the age of 62.

Among those interested in acquiring the franchise, in addition to a minority shareholder of the Montreal Canadiens, is the renowned actor Ryan Reynolds reports People!

The Canadian actor responded to a subscriber via Twitter who mentioned that the Sens were for sale and that he should acquire the franchise.

Reynolds retorted with a musing emoji like this: 🤔.

On the matter, the 46-year-old did not respond to any media interview requests.

If Reynolds ever gets his hands on the club, his goal would be for it to stay in Ottawa, hence his motivation to acquire it. The team is currently valued at $655 million, according to Sportico.

Reynolds is a co-owner of Wrexham FC, a soccer team founded in 1864 that plays in the National League.

Tom Brady “didn’t want the divorce”

The star quarterback Tom Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen have just recently divorced, and according to the information collected by People, it was not Tom’s desire.

The 45-year-old did not want to give up, he wanted to do what he had to do to fix the situation and bring harmony back to the couple.

“It wasn’t Tom’s idea. He didn’t want the divorce and he didn’t want the divorce!”, according to People.

On the other hand, the efforts Brady wanted to make to bring it all back came too late since Bündchen’s decision seemed irreversible.

“She gave him plenty of opportunities to make things right, and he didn’t!” a source said.

Now, the important thing is to do things in a respectful way whether it is for their children, or themselves, while the beautiful moments they spent together will remain engraved forever.

Recall that Brady posted a message announcing his divorce after 13 years together on his Instagram account last Friday.

This man bet $10M on the Astros

Jim “Mattress Mack” Mcingvale has bet $10 million on the Houston Astros to win the MLB World Series title against the Philadelphia Phillies.

By betting this, Mattress Mack, a furniture store owner and “notorious sports bettor”, stands to win a monstrous $75 million.

Losing a bet that big hurts, but losing it in person must hurt even more. On Tuesday night, Mattress Mack was watching Game 3 of the World Series, where fans were screaming for the Philadelphia Phillies at home.

With the Phillies taking a commanding 7-0 lead in the game, the Astros’ chances of winning the series have plummeted and so have the odds of this big bettor, who could lose $10 million.

The series will continue on Wednesday night (8:00 p.m.), again at the Phillies’ home stadium, Citizens Bank Park, and you can be sure that Mattress Mack will once again have a frontrow seat.
