Joe Jonas addresses the use of injections: “We can be honest”

“We all get older.”

Joe Jonas spoke to People about his new partnership with injectable brand Xeomin, among other things.

Joe Jonas was quick to share his skin care routine.

“We all age and part of that is being comfortable [in our skin],” he told People.

While beauty and grooming routines and habits sometimes seem to be a taboo subject for men, Jonas wants to deepen the conversation about how men can and should take care of their skin, too. That’s why the musician partnered with Xeomin, an injectable cosmetic that smooths fine lines with a unique purified formula that removes unnecessary proteins, for his new campaign Beauty on Your Terms.

“We can be open and honest about it and be confident and not shy about telling our truth,” he said.

The Happiness Begins hitmaker who turned 33 on August 15, is very open about his own anti-aging journey. He mentioned that he has found a new level of confidence using these injections to smooth out some of those wrinkles and frown lines that come with age.

“Personally, I care a lot about what I put in my body, and with a cosmetic treatment like this, I wanted to be aware of what was in there,” he said, adding that after talking with the brand and his own health care provider, he felt good about diving into the partnership.

Eva Longoria supports Serena Williams’ comments

Serena Williams announced that she wanted to leave the world of tennis recently in order to fulfill her wish to expand and take care of her family, mentioning that she would not have to do so if she were a man.

The best female tennis player of all time surprised some people when she told Vogue magazine that the clock was ticking and that she would retire after the U.S. Open.

Following this announcement, many voices were lined up behind her to denounce the lack of equity in terms of family responsibilities and the impact of these on women’s professional lives, including her good friend Eva Longoria, who agrees with Serena’s position, choice and words.

“If I were a man, I wouldn’t be writing this (…),” she pointed out to People.

“She’s absolutely right (…) she wouldn’t have to take years off. Years off to heal from a C-section,” Eva Longoria said.

The famous former Desperate Housewives star concluded her speech by mentioning that women think more about everything… except themselves!

“Mothers carry the weight of so much responsibility – not just for ourselves, for our children, for our mothers (…) we are mothers, we help the community, we help our co-workers, and so many other things (…) Being a mom (…) it usually means you think (…) outside of yourself. And that includes the planet,” Longoria concludes.

“The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist”: Manti Te’o tells his story

The documentary about Manti Te’o, a Heisman Trophy finalist in his final year at Notre Dame and a player for the New Orleans Saints, was dropped on the Netflix platform last Tuesday.

It tells, through the docu, a tale of a false identity on socials, which is called “catfishing”.

The documentary is called Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist, and it summarizes the mental problems (anxiety) that Te’o went through because of the death of his grandmother and his fake girlfriend, who didn’t really exist.

This happened ten years ago (2012), and this nightmare bothered Te’o so much, that he was unable to lead Notre Dame to the national championship, losing 42-14 to Alabama.

Following his college career, he joined the NFL and the anxiety attacks became regular.

All in all, Te’o, who was defrauded of millions, was hesitant for a long time to accept the production of this documentary since he was ashamed of himself.

“I was still ashamed. I was still embarrassed,” he said in an interview with Time.

Zoë Kravitz talks about her Will Smith comments and her relationship with Channing Tatum

“It’s a terrifying time to have an opinion.”

Zoë Kravitz went back to her comments about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock in the face at the Oscars 2022.

In a cover story for the WSJ, the actress addressed some of the backlash she received online for sharing her views on the incident, saying:

“It’s a terrifying time to have an opinion or say the wrong thing or make statements or have controversial thoughts or whatever.”

Zoë Kravitz initially commented on a since-deleted photo of her look from the ceremony, “Here’s a photo of my dress at the show where we’re apparently assaulting people on stage now.”

Alongside her initial social media post, the actress wrote alongside a second photo at the time:

“And here’s a picture of my dress at the party after the awards ceremony – where we’re apparently yelling profanity and assaulting people on stage now.”

In addition to opening up about the Oscar event, in the same article for WSJ, the actress opened up about Channing Tatum.

Zoë Kravitz talked about the new project she is working on with her lover for her directorial debut, in the thriller Pussy Island.

“When you’re creating things with people, it’s a very sacred space, and when you’re creatively compatible with someone, it often opens up other channels, because you’re kind of sharing a part of yourself.”

Then, she added about Tatum:

“I’m really grateful that this film brought him into my life in this way.”

One thing is for sure, we can’t wait to watch Pussy Island.
