The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department revealed on Wednesday that the starlet will now only be required to spend 23 days in prison. Hilton had previously been sentenced to 45 days.
The sheriff’s department made the decision based on several factors, including the nature of the offense and Hilton’s behaviour. A spokesperson for Los Angeles authorities said, "The public can expect that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department will make the best decision for everyone involved. We will treat [Hilton] as we would any other. That’s our goal."
Chinese authorities had been concerned that the blonde star’s performances were too sexy. It seems that the country’s leaders in Beijing have decided to give Aguilera the green light to perform there in June.
