Gisele Bundchen Signs With Cacharel

The several million dollar agreement will make Bundchen the face of the new fragrance called Liberte.  The French company chose the model for her popularity in Europe, Japan, China and the Middle East.

Alexander Keller, a spokesperson for Cacharel, said, "Gisele Bundchen embodies perfectly our fragrance Liberté. She stands for the freedom and independence of young women."

Bundchen will be seen in television spots, and in magazine advertisements.  The campaign work will be done in the Canary Islands.

Bette Midler To Replace Celine Dion

The end of this year will mark the end of the French-Canadian singer’s contract for her permanent Las Vegas show.  According to the New York Post, Midler will begin her show at the Colosseum in February of 2008.

Midler plans to begin rehearsals for her show in October.  The 61 year-old New Yorker is looking forward to performing.  Midler added, "That Colosseum – it has lots of fun stuff to fool around with!"

Bette Midler earned four Grammy Awards during her career.  The singer, who is also an actress, also earned two Oscar nominations.

Anglina Jolie Visits Washington

Jolie was in the American capitol as a representative of GAC (Global Action for Children), a charity group that comes to the aid of orphans in underdeveloped countries.

During a press conference, the star explained why the organization was near to her heart.  "My daughter Zahara was orphaned because of AIDS,” she told the audience in Washington, “So I don’t have to tell you how precious I think these children are.”

Jolie added, “My daughter will learn about Ethiopia, and I pray that that country will stabilize, and when she’s 16 she can spend time there.  But I’m very concerned that when she’s 16, she won’t be able to go, because it’ll be too dangerous. So, I have an investment in these countries personally, because I’m concerned about the future of them on obviously a very personal level.”

Lindsay Lohan Prepares for Her Third Disc

In an interview with Nylon magazine for their May issue, the actress spoke about what she wants to give to her fans.  Lohan explained, "I want to do what Britney was doing. I want to work with Pharrell and Justin Timberlake and Timbaland."

The star may also plan a tour.  Lohan added, "I want to do a tour like Madonna."

Will Justin and Britney Reunite?

Well-known music producer Timbaland, who worked on the latest release from Timberlake, FutureSex/LoveSounds, has a dream of reuniting the two pop stars.

Timberlake and Spears, who shared a romantic relationship in the past, met while working together as children on television’s Mickey Mouse Club.

The two stars, who broke up in 2002, have never recorded a disc together.  Timbaland told Contactmusic, "I want her in my camp, around Justin."

Timbaland recently brought Timberlake together with the Canadian singer Nelly Furtado (Give It To Me) for a collaboration.

Gisele Bundchen Is Too Greedy

Victoria’s Secret has decided not to renew the Brazilian beauty’s contract based on her financial expectations.  The American company did not agree to pay Bundchen $5 million to be a part of the lingerie brand’s next campaign.

According to a Brazilian website, "Her demands were outrageous. She got a new lawyer who was unrealistic."

Despite the fact that Bundchen won’t be returning, Victoria’s Secret is not concerned.  An insider explained, "Victoria’s Secret doesn’t care. They have five new hotter, younger girls debuting next year. And they won’t have to deal with any craziness."

Bruce Willis Will Always Love Demi Moore

The star of the Die Hard films shared his sentiments with Vanity Fair magazine.

The 52 year-old actor still spends vacations with Moore and her new husband, Ashton Kutcher.

Willis admits that it may seem strange, saying, "It’s hard for people to understand, but we go on holidays together."

For Willis, it is just how things are done in their family.  "We still raise our kids together. Demi is the mother of my children and Ashton is the stepfather of my children," he says (Willis and Moore have daughters Rumer, 18; Scout, 15; and Tallulah, 13). "I’m thrilled that Ashton turned out to be such a great guy. I love Demi, and I know she loves me."

Kurt Cobain’s Belongings to Be Sold

Love feels like her home has turned into a mausoleum, and plans to give several items to Christie’s for an auction.  Love explained, "(My house) is like a mausoleum… and my daughter doesn’t need to inherit a giant… bag full of flannel shirts. A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to ‘(Smells Like) Teen Spirit,’ that’s what my daughter gets. The rest of it we’ll just… sell."

For the widow, it will also serve as a way for her to put closure on her relationship with Cobain, although not all items will be sold.  Love added, "I still wear his pajamas to bed. How am I ever going to go form another relationship in my lifetime wearing Kurt’s pajamas?"

Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994.

Kate Moss Launches Clothing Line

The star collaborated with Britain’s Topshop boutiques to create the line, which was inspired by the 1980s, and includes more than 80 pieces of clothing, bags and accessories.

Kate Moss is working her way back to the top.  In 2006, she lost several lucrative contracts after a British tabloid published photographs of her using cocaine.  The pretty brunette then admitted herself into a rehabilitation clinic.

300 Dominates MTV Movie Award Nominations

Zach Snyder’s film topped the list of nominees, which was followed by The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, which earned four nominations.

The two films are both in the best film, best performance and best villain categories.

The battle heats up with competition from the box-office hit Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.  The film, which stars Sacha Baron Cohen, is also in contention for best film.

The MTV Movie Awards will take place on June 3, and will be hosted by comedian Sarah Silverman.
