Little Baby Metallica

Michael and Karolina Tomaro are at the centre of a dispute with Swedish authorities, who are refusing to accept the name of a rock group for a baby girl. 

The six month-old has already been baptised with the name, but authorities have since claimed that the name is inappropriate.  Under Swedish law, a name must be approved by authorities before being used.

The Tomaro family plans to battle their case in the country’s superiour court. 

Names such as Ikea and Veranda were also refused in the past.

Jodie Foster Outed By Magazine

The story behind the cover is based on the many celebrities who have not formally announced their homosexual orientation.

The cover shot shows two models, holding masks over their faces depicting Jodie Foster and CNN correspondent Anderson Cooper.  The two celebrities have never admitted to being homosexual, although the magazine claims that they are.

The May edition of Out magazine will go on sale on April 17.

Keith Richards Says Snorting Story Was a Joke

A spokesperson for the band said that Richards was not serious when he told the story to NME magazine.  The representative for the rock band also mentionned that there are no other comments on the story.

A representative of the musical magazine reports that Richards did not appear to be joking at the time he shared the story.  During an interview with the magazine, Richards revealed that he had mixed some of his father’s ashes with cocaine and snorted it.  Bert Richards, the guitarist’s father, died in 2002 at the age of 84.

A New Marriage for Ben Kingsley

The 63 year-old star, who earned an Oscar in 1982 for his performance in the film Gandhi, will soon wed 32 year-old actress Daniela Barbosa.

The newlyweds-to-be met for the first time last January, just three months after Kingsley divorced for the third time.  Kingsley’s most recent marriage was to the German aristocrat Alexandra Christmann.  The marriage ended abruptly after the actor discovered a photograph on the internet of his wife with another man.

Kingsley’s future bride is best known for small roles in cinema and television.

John Travolta Makes Emergency Landing

The Hollywood star urgently landed his plane in Ireland on Monday during a flight from Germany to New York.  The actor had been in Germany to promote his new film Wild Hogs.

During the trip, Travolta’s Boeing 707 experienced technical difficulties, making a landing at Ireland’s Shannon airport necessary.

Travolta, 53, was not injured during the incident.  This is the second time that the actor had trouble while flying.  Eight years ago, he made an emergency landing in Boston.

Anna Faris Files for Divorce

The star of the Scary Movie films and My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Faris, 30, filed her request in Los Angeles.  The actress cited "irreconciliable differences" as the reason for the decision.

The two actors, who were married in June of 2004, have been separated for a month.  Faris has already indicated that she will not ask for financial compensation from Indra, 28.

Keith Richards Snorted His Father

In an interview with NME magazine, the 63 year-old musician revealed that he mixed his father’s ashes with cocaine and inhaled them through his nose.  "The strangest thing I’ve tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father,"  the guitarist told the British magazine.

"He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn’t have cared," Richards said. "… It went down pretty well, and I’m still alive."

Bert Richards, Keith’s father, died in 2002 at the age of 84.

Keith Richards is well-known for living life at 100 miles per hour.  Last year, the Rolling Stones were forced to cancel several concerts after Richards was injured during a family vacation.  The accident required the rock star to undergo brain surgery.

Mandy Moore Fractures Her Ankle

The incident took place in Mexico, where the 22 year-old star was posing for Self magazine.  Moore, who starred in the films A Walk to Remember, Saved! and The Princess Diaries, among others, was jumping off of a boat when she injured herself.

The June edition of Self magazine will feature Mandy Moore, and be in stores in several weeks.

Intimate Kate Moss Video Hits Internet

In the video, the singer/guitarist is shown singing a personal song to the most popular model in the world.

According to Britain’s The Sun, the three-minute video is believed to have been filmed at the Cotswolds home of Moss.
