Adidas Teaming Up with Mattel

Sporting goods company Adidas is offering a new collection for Spring/Summer 2007, for children in Mattel product colours.

Younger children will also have a collection called My Scene, that will feature clothing, shoes and accessories that will go with Fisher-Price toys.

The collection is geared toward children between 2-20 years of age, and will feature products in white, pink, violet, and many shades of blue.

Adidas is not stopping there.  For their Winter collection, they are doing business with Warner Bros.

Kristin Davis’ New Beau

Davis, who played Charlotte York in Sex and the City, is seeing Rick Fox, former player of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fox, who is now acting, recently separated from actress Vanessa Williams.  Fox’s acting has included He Got Game, Holes and Eddie.

According to the magazine In Touch, the 41-year-old actress, and 37-year-old athlete were seen at a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.  They were seen kissing.

Mark Ruffalo a Professional Con

According to Variety, Mark Ruffalo, accepted the part in the movie, The Brothers Bloom, directed by Rian Johnson.  It is the story of two brothers that are known as the world’s biggest con men.  They plan one last con job, but are not expecting the millionaire (played by Rachel Weisz), to be so resourceful. 

Adrian Brody, 39, will be part of the cast.  They will begin shooting in March.

A Movie About Milli Vanilli

Milli Vanilli is a duo that had huge success in 1989 with the song Girl You Know It’s True.  They sold over 30 million copies.  The year after its release, the duo admitted they were not singing.

According to Variety, this movie will be directed by Jeff Nathanson (The Terminal, Catch Me If You Can, Rush Hour 3).

Fabrice Morvan, one of the members of Milli Vanilli, accepted that their story be made into a movie.  The second member, Rob Pilatus, died in 1998 of an overdose.

Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg Working Together

The two stars who recently did the movie The Departed together, will be playing brothers in this biographical movie by Martin Scorsese.

The Fighter is the story of Micky Ward, nicknamed the Irish, and was a world champion in the ring.

Filming for The Fighter will commence this summer.

Arctic Monkeys Top Brit Awards

The four-man group won the awards for Best Album (Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not), and Best Group.  The group was not present to accept the awards.

Another popular group, The Killers, from Las Vegas, United States, also won two awards, for Best International group, and Best International album.

The writer/composer/singer, James Morrison, won for Best Male British Singer, while Amy Winehouse won for Best Female Singer.

The award for Best British Song was voted by the public, and was a song by Take That (Patience).

Oasis was given a Brit Award for their exceptional contribution to the world of music.

A Clip of Bee Movie

This movie is starring Jerry Seinfeld, who also wrote the script.  Bee Movie is the story of Barry B. Benson, a young bee fresh out of college.  He is disillusioned in thinking his only career choice is honey.  When he ventures outside of hs world, he meets a florist that changes his life.

Other well known celebrities that will be part of this cast include: Renée Zellweger, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Chris Rock, Megan Mullally, Kathy Bates, Alan Arkin and Patrick Warburton.

Matt Dillon Working with Francis Ford Coppola

According to Variety, this movie, Tetro, will be the story of an immigrant, Argentinian family, dealing with diverse racial issues.

Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, among others), will begin shooting this movie later this year in Buenos Aires.

Sienna Miller Playing Opposite Daniel Craig

The star of Factory Girl gave her response to Daniel Craig, who will be Bond 22.

According to the London Daily Star, "Sienna is the hottest young actress around and would be the perfect Bond girl. She’s beautiful, talented and a real style icon."

Miller, 25, had already expressed an interest in the part.  If the stunning actress becomes a new flame for James Bond, she will be re-igniting the flame with Daniel Craig.  The two celebrities dated for a brief period in 2005, a short time after filming the movie Layer Cake.

James Bond 22, which is not the official name yet, is scheduled to be in theatres on November 7, 2008.

The Counting Crows are Back in the Studio

Singer Adam Duritz commented about the work of the group on his blog. "I don’t know what else to say about that. It’s just going really, really well and I’m really satisfied and happy about that."

These singers of Mister Jones, have not offered any music to their fans since Hard Candy in 2002.  They have spent most of 2006 on the road.

The release date, and title of this album has not been released.
