Thierry Henry Signs with Tommy Hilfiger

For the player who played with the Blues in the last World Cup, it is the second biggest contract for the athlete, after his deal with Reebok.

In the next spring and fall, Henry will be in the publicity campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger’s men’s underwear collection.

Additionally, a ready-to-wear limited edition clothing line will be created.  The special line will appear in the 2007/2008 fall/winter collection.

Proceeds from the limited edition clothing line will go to Henry’s One 4 All foundation, which refers to his football number.

Angelina Jolie May Star in Sin City 2

The star, who was in the cast of the original film, told Comingsoon.net that she would be interested in doing a sequel.  She explained, "We talked about it and I read the comic I don’t think the film is being made at this moment.  When it’s actually going to be made I’m sure we’ll talk more about it."

If Jolie joins the project, she will be a part of a dream cast, including Clive Owen.

Steven Seagal To Star in Film

The star will be doing what he does best, an action film.  In Once Upon A Time in the Hood, Seagal will play a man who is determined to revenge his son’s death.

Directed by Don E. FauntLeRoy (Jeepers Creepers, Jeepers Creepers II, Terminator 2: Judgment Day), the film will be shot in Mexico.

Prince To Perform at Super Bowl

Many stars have taken the stage for the half-time show, and this year it will be the Purple Rain star giving the show.

The biggest event in American football, the Super Bowl always has a huge audience.  The game will take place on February 4.

Since 2004, when Janet Jackson was in the middle of a scandal involving bearing her breast before millions of views, the event’s organisers have paid special attention when choosing their acts.  Last year, Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones had some of their lyrics censored because they were deemed to be too explicit.

Garbage Prepares Compilation CD

The CD, entitled Absolute Garbage, will include the band’s biggest hits.  Seventeen songs will be on the collection, including Only Happy When It Rains, Stupid Girl and Bleed Like Me among others.

Currently, Garbage in on a break from touring.

Shirley Manson, the band’s singer, has been working on a solo album.  She is working with producer David Arnold, who she worked with in 1999 to record the James Bond song The World Is Not Enough.

Watch the Trailer for Hannibal Rising

The film presents the early years of infamous Hannibal Lecter, who has made us shudder in other movies.

Hannibal Rising is set during the Second World War in Lithuania.  Young Hannibal witnesses the horrors of war and becomes a refugee in France.

Starring Gaspard Ulliel, Gong Li, Rhys Ifans, Richard Brake and Kevin McKidd, the horror thriller will open in theatres on February 9.  To watch the trailer for Hannibal Rising, click here.

First Image of Music and Lyrics

In the romantic comedy, Alex Fletcher, (Hugh Grant) is a former 80s pop star who has been reduced to working the nostalgia circuit.  When he gets an opportunity for a comeback with a duet, he must write a new song.  Barrymore stars as Sophie Fisher, Fletcher’s quirky plant lady with a talent for words.

Directed by Marc Lawrence (Miss Congeniality, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous, Two Weeks Notice), the film is expected to be released on Valentine’s Day.

Andre 3000 to Join Ferrell and Harrelson

Andre 3000, whose real name is Andre Benjamin, will star in the comedy which is set in the world of basketball in the 1970s.  The singer will play a member of a Flint, Michigan basketball team.  Ferrell will play the flambouyant owner/coach/player, while Harrelson will also be a team member.

Filming for Semi-Pro is set to begin next year.

Is James Blunt Engaged?

Speculation began when the Czech beauty was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring on her finger.  Nemcova, 27, was scene with the ring while she was shooting an ad for Hewlett Packard in New York this week.

A spokesperson for the couple, who have been dating since last June, made no comment on an engagement.

Before falling into the arms of the You’re Beautiful singer, the supermodel was dating photographer Simon Atlee.  The couple were on holiday in Asia in December 2004 when the tsunami occured.  Nemcova lost her love in the tragedy and she herself was hospitalised.
