Marilyn Manson on The Nightmare Before Christmas

On October 20, Disney will be releasing a 3D version of Tim Burton’s, The Nightmare Before Christmas.  A new soundtrack will follow shortly after the movie.

In addition to the rocker Marilyn Manson, The Nightmare Before Christmas 2-Disc Special Edition Soundtrack will feature nine new songs or remakes by Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Fiona Apple, She Wants Revenge, among others.

The first CD will feature 10 original pieces, composed by Danny Elfman.  On the second disc, five new songs can be heard, including This is Halloween by Manson.  There will be four others added to the album that have never been heard.

First Look at Tarantino’s Grindhouse

This movie is certainly one of the most anticipated for 2007.  It is two movies that will play back to back, separated by trailers done by the two directors, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.

The first trailer is called Planet Terror.  It is the work of Rodriguez, who has done other works such as Sin City, Once Upon a Time in Mexico and Desperado.

The other part of the movie, Death Proof, directed by Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill), will be revealed in the near future.

Grindhouse has a great cast with actors such as Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan, Josh Brolin, Michael Biehn, Jeff Fahey, Michael Parks, Tom Savini and Danny Trejo.

Jessica Alba Says NO to Nudity

The 25-year-old actress confided to the November edition of Elle magazine that she refused to be completely undressed in the movie Sin City that came out in 2005.

She expressed, "I don’t do nudity. I just don’t," Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won’t get hired in some things. But I have too much anxiety."

The star revealed to the magazine that she would like to move to New York to pursue her career in independent movies.

Rachel Weisz Starring in The Brothers Bloom

Academy award winner, Rachel Weisz, for her part in the movie The Constant Gardener, in 2005, will be playing in this movie directed by Rian Johnson (Brick).

This movie will start production in February in a dozen countries.  Wesiz plays a mysterious millionaire who wants to leave a team of con men that are doing one last job.

Julia Roberts is Back

The 38-year-old actress pulled out of the movie industry for a few years to dedicate her time to her newborn twins.

According to Variety, Paramount Pictures convinced the star to come back to play the part of Elizabeth Gilbert.  This married woman, lives in a spacious apartment and in her weekend home, where she is trying to get pregnant, until the day she realizes it is not the life she desires.  After a painful divorce, she decides to pick up and go discover the world.

The movie, Eat, Pray, Love is produced by Brad Pitt’s company, Plan B, and is directed by Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck).

Singer of The Darkness Leaves the Group

According to The Sun, Hawkins, who is addicted to hard drugs, has decided to concentrate on detoxication.

The singer considers himself sober after nine weeks at a clinic called The Priory.  He believes that returning to the group would not be a good idea, after all of the work in getting clean.

The singer explained, "I hit absolute rock bottom. I spent over £150,000 on cocaine in three years – a frightening amount. I regularly used to stay up for four days at a time on coke and alcohol binges."

Hawkins went on to explain that his abuse of alcohol and drugs started in 2002, when The Darkness became popular in England with the song I Believe in a Thing Called Love.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Demonstrate Generosity

According to Access Hollywood, the couple made this donation in the memory of the American journalist assasinated in Pakistan on February 1, 2002.

The donation was made by the Jolie-Pitt foundation last Tuesday, in honour of the journalist’s 43rd birthday.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been in India since last week.  They have given more than two million dollars.  They want to help the children, fight AIDS and poverty.

The most popular Hollywood couple is causing a lot of stress for their security agents who are fighting off a flock of paparazzis.

Baby Spice is now 30, and planning to marry her boyfriend of eight years, Jade Jones.

Following the immense success of the Spice Girls, Bunton launched a solo CD in 2005 entitled Free Me.  The star also is a part of the BBC1 reality show Strictly Come Dancing.

James Blunt to Re-Release Album

On November 7, the singer’s premiere album will now include a few live versions of his songs that were recorded in Ireland.  Blunt fans will find the new song, Sugar Coated, as well as the Crowded House song, Fall at Your Feet, and the Pixies song Where is My Mind?

Gwen Stefani Gets Back to Work

After several months off following the birth of her first baby, Stefani has announced on her website that her second solo CD is on the way.

The Californian singer is currently working with No Doubt partners, Tony Kanal and Akon, in the studio.  The title of the next release is still unknown.

Stefani is also planning to release a DVD entitled Harajuku Lovers Live before the end of the year.
