Eva Longoria Injured on the Set

The 31 year-old actress fell and needed to be taken to hospital.  The star’s spokesperson, Liza Anderson, explained, "Nothing is broken, but her ribs are very bruised."  According to initial reports, Longoria’s injuries did not make her miss any work.

This is not the first time for the actress to be injured on the set of Desperate Housewives.  Last year, Longoria was hit on the head.

Desperate Housewives is one of the most popular shows on TV, and earned a Golden Globe for Best Comedy for the past two years.

Ludacris Returning to the Silver Screen

The rapper, whose real name is Chris Bridges, has already joined the cast, which includes Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti, Kevin Spacey, John Michael Higgins and Elizabeth Banks.

Directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers, Shanghai Knights) Fred Claus is the story of Santa’s brother, who is living in New York, and decides to move back to the North Pole.  His return then threatens to ruin Christmas.

Ludacris will play an angry elf.  For the rapper, it will mark his return to film.  He starred in the movies Crash and Hustle & Flow.  Ludacris also appeared on television’s Law & Order.

Paris Hilton Has a New Rival

An altercation took place at the Hyde nightclub in Hollywood last night.  Shanna Moakler, a former beauty queen and estranged wife of Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, got into a catfight with the famous Hilton.

In September, Barker was spotted embracing the wealthy hotel heiress, and Moakler was not happy to see her husband so quickly in the arms of another.

Hilton told police that last night, Moakler walked up to her using obscenities, and then hitting her in the jaw.

The two women then exchanged insults before Stavros Niarchos, Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, poured a drink over Moakler’s head and shoved her down the stairs.

Hilton, 25, and Moakler, 31, have both reported the incident to police.  Pictures of the two women were taken at the police station, and plans are underway to speak with witnesses.

Moakler and Travis Barker were married in 2004.  They have two children.  Moakler is also the mother of a 7 year-old daughter from her relationship with Oscar De La Hoya.

Deep Throat Named Landmark Movie

Made in 1972, Deep Throat has made the Radio Times Guide to Films list along with such cinema classics as Citizen Kane.

Editor Andrew Collins explained, "Deep Throat is not necessarily recommended for everyone – it’s a quite badly made film – but to deny its influence would be pure snobbery."

The Radio Times Guide to Films lists the movies which have changed the course of the cinema industry.

Sheryl Crow is Cancer Free

The American singer recently shared the news on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.  The Leaving Las Vegas singer had been fighting cancer since the beginning of the year.

She explained, "I went to the doctor and I had my mammogram. I can’t lie to you – it hurt. They did a whole bunch of different shots of both breasts and I’m free and clear."

The star had to cancel her world tour when she was first diagnosed.  Crow, 44, has returned to her normal activities.

The ceremony is planned to take place in Saint-Tropez.  Paradis, 33, and Depp, 43, met on the set of the 1999 film The Ninth Gate.  The two are already the parents of two children, Lili-Rose and Jack.

Farrah Fawcett Diagnosed with Cancer

The 59 year-old American actress, who starred in the television series Charlie’s Angels, has already started radiation treatments.

According to the National Enquirer, the star who played Jill Monroe will also undergo chemotherapy and surgery.

Farrah Fawcett is considered to be one of the biggest sex symbols of all time.  The actress was married for 17 years to actor Ryan O’Neal, with whom she has two children.

Vince Vaughn Ends Relationship with Jennifer Aniston

 Us Weekly is reporting that Vaughn ended his relationship with Aniston just before leaving for England to work on the comedy Joe Claus.

The split apparently took place a few weeks ago.  A source close to Vaughn reported the news.  “It’s not common knowledge, but we’re not together anymore,” Vaughn told the insider September 13, adding that they solidified the breakup in a long phone conversation. “We’ve split up.”

Last June 27, Vaughn gave a $500,000 ring, and rumours began that the two were planning to marry.

Aniston and Vaughn began dating while filming The Break-Up.  Aniston, 37, is divorced from actor Brad Pitt, who is now dating Angelina Jolie.

Madonna May Adopt

According to the Associated Press, the star may be planning to adopt a child.  The information was revealed by Andrina Mchiela, the secretary to the Minister of Social Security.  Mchiela explained that Madonna will be adopting a child in addition to launching six projects to help the orphans during her visit.

The star and her team of ten people arrived by private plane in the region’s capital, Lilongwe.

Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world.  Fourteen percent of the 12 million people living in the area are affected by AIDS, one million of them are children who are orphaned.

Madonna and her husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie, are already the parents of a son, Rocco, 5.  Madonna also has a 9 year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
