Korn Cancels European Tour

According to recent reports, the American singer is suffering from a rare disease called Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura.  The illness is an infection of the blood.

According to a representative of the band, Davis will be sidelined for several weeks while he is treated for the illness.

A message was recently posted on the band’s official website.  "I started getting these weird bruises all over my body about two weeks ago," Davis wrote. "I was getting very weak after the shows so I saw a doctor in London Friday. He took some blood tests and when the results came in, they rushed me to the hospital."

Korn was in Europe to promote their disc Keeping the Faith, which was released last April.

Matt Damon Has Baby Girl

The baby girl, named Isabella, was born on Sunday in Miami.  "Mother and Isabella are doing fine," Damon’s rep Jennifer Allen, confirmed to PEOPLE. "The family is very happy and everyone’s healthy."

Luciana has a daughter, Alexia, from a previous marriage.  Damon, 35, and his 30 year-old wife met in 2003 when he was filming the movie Stuck on You.  They were married in December, 2005.

Colin Farrell Is In Love

Farrell, who starred in the films Phone Booth and The New World, among others, is now involved with the actress who stars in Boston Legal and Surface.  The two stars are currently working together in New York on the film Pride and Glory.

Farrell was previously married to actress Amelia Warner, though the marriage only lasted for four months in 2001.

Last December, the 30 year-old actor entered a clinic that specializes in the treatment of drug addiction.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Leave Namibia

Governor Samuel Nuuyoma reported that the two actors, along with their children, Maddox, 4, Zahara, 17 months, and baby Shiloh, left Namibia on Saturday.

During a recently press conference, the couple revealed that they would leave the African region soon, as Pitt will be starting work on the film Ocean’s 13.

Pitt and Jolie went to Namibia in April to await the birth of their first biological child.  Shiloh Nouvel was born on May 27.

A New Lawsuit Against Madonna

Max Garcia, a stagehand on the 2004 world tour, has filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming that he was injured during the San Jose, California show.

The man filed paperwork on Wednesday in Santa Clara, claiming that appropriate security measures were not taken, which resulted in his injury.  Garcia has not been able to work since the incident.  A hearing has been scheduled for October 17.

Currently the singer is preparing to start her next tour.

Britney Spears Opens her Heart

The interview was conducted by NBC, and will be aired on television on June 15. 

During the interview, Spears discussed how she feels that the media has poisoned her life.  She said that she wishes the media wasn’t always looking for what is wrong in her life.   She said, "I think everybody should be pro-love."

Spears also commented on the incident that took place earlier this year, when Spears was photographed driving with her child on her lap.  "I can’t go anywhere without someone judging me…I did it with my dad. I’d sit on his lap and I drive."

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were married on September 18, 2004.  Their son, Sean Preston, was born in September, 2005.  Last May, Spears revealed that she is expecting the couple’s second child.

Kylie Minogue Is Back on the Scene

The 38 year-old star, who recently battled breast cancer, was enjoying an evening out with her sister, Danni.  It was the first public appearance of the singer since she announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer in 2005.

Last week, Kylie Minogue was chosen as the Woman of the Year by Glamour magazine for demonstrating strength and determination while fighting the life-threatening disease.

The Passion of the Christ Is Most Controversial Film

In a survey taken by Entertainment Weekly magazine, the film which chronicles the last twelve hours of the life of Jesus Christ was selected as the most highly controversial film.

The 1971 film A Clockwork Orange, from Stanley Kubrick, came in second place on the poll.

Director Oliver Stone had two films on the list, including JFK (1991) in fifth place, and Natural Born Killers (1994), which came in at number 13.

Pete Doherty Enters Rehab

A lawyer for the 27 year-old singer revealed the news at a court hearing on Friday.  According to the attorney, Doherty will spend six to seven weeks in the centre.

The troubled young star has had several problems with the law as a result of his drug addiction.

The Strokes Record Marvin Gaye Cover

According to Billboard magazine, the American group also had the help of Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder, and Josh Homme, of Queens of the Stone Age.

The song, which should be released by mid-July, features Vedder sharing the microphone with Julian Casablancas.  Homme plays the drums alongside Fabrizio Moretti.

The Strokes released their third CD, First Impressions of Earth, last January.
