Kylie Minogue Launches Perfume

The star, who just finished her battle with breast cancer, is working with a beauty products company to make the fragrance.  According to The Sun, a name is currently being chosen for the perfume.  A source told the paper, "Having cancer made Kylie realise that life is precious. She is determined to make the most of every second."

The source added, "Kylie has loads of different projects on the go and has spent the past two months holding all sorts of meetings."

Last May, Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer.  After an operation, radiation treatments, and chemotherapy, the cancer is in remission.

Financial Problems for Don Johnson

According to the Aspen Daily News, the Aspen ranch may be sold to repay the debts that Johnson has accumulated, which total $10.6 million.  Not only was Johnson behind on mortgage payments, but the actor had outstanding bills in the Aspen area that included Aspen Valley Hospital ($7,345), the Of Grape & Grain liquor store ($377), Isberian Rug Co. ($1,228), Planted Earth ($764) and the Aspen law firm of Garfield & Hecht ($2,787).

Pink Talks About Drugs

The 26 year-old star revealed that she was a drug user until the age of 16, when she decided to get sober and concentrate on her singing career.  It was the tragic overdose deaths of friends that made her open her eyes.  She said, "Heroin is a horrible thing. I’ve seen first hand what it can do to people and it’s not pretty. I was never that much into it to need treatment.  But you name it, I took it. I buried three friends from heroin overdoses. I just stopped one day on Thanksgiving 1995 and never touched them again."

Paris Hilton Dating More than One Man

Hilton, who recently split with Greek boyfriend Stavros Niarchos, seemed to be on a date with two men recently in Los Angeles.

The star, who has announced that she wants to start a family in 2007, is simultaneously dating former Olympic footballer, Jeremy Bloom, and her former boyfriend, Jason Shaw.

Randy Quaid Sues Brokeback Mountain

The actor says that Focus Features persuaded him into the role by saying that Brokeback Mountain was a low-budget film.  Quaid, 55, is suing for $10 milion.

Brokeback Mountain, directed by Ang Lee, earned three Oscars earlier this month.  Produced for $14 million, the film has already brought in more than $158 million at box offices world-wide.

Lord of the Rings Opens on Live Stage

The 30 million Canadian dollar production has taken four years to put together, and the performance lasts three and a half hours.  Directed by Matthew Warchus, critics are saying the adaptation of the JRR Tolkien book was "largely incomprehensible."

Lord of the Rings is being presented at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, and includes 55 artists, 17 elevators and 500 costumes.

Britney Spears Throws Party for Husband

According to The Sun, the singer rented a private jet to fly Federline and 15 of his friends to Las Vegas to celebrate his 28th birthday.  Staying at the Venetian Hotel, at a cost of $8,000 per night, the birthday party cost the singer over $!00,000.

During the festivities, the 24 year-old singer performed a solo of "Happy Birthday" to her husband, with a champagne toast.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Sell Their Home

According to the National Ledger, the transaction earned them profit of $9 million.  The home was purchased in 2001 at a price of $13.5 million, and the selling price was $22.5 million.

Designed by architect Wallace Neff, the initial asking price for the residence was $28 million.  The buyer’s name is not known.

Lindsay Lohan Dreams of Being Wonder Woman

The star of the films Herbie: Fully Loaded, Freaky Friday, and others, hopes to bring the comic book character to life.

The 19 year-old actress explained, "Wonder Woman would be cool. I’m trying to find roles right now that are different to anything I’ve done to show my abilities, to show that I have some sort of stretch in me. Because most of the things that I’ve done so far are aimed at younger girls and are light-hearted."

Warner Bros. studios wants to bring Wonder Woman to theatres in 2007.

Pete Doherty Pleads Guilty

The Babyshambles singer appeared in a London court to face seven drug-related charges.  Doherty, 26, the former boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, was already on probation for a previous drug conviction.  Outside the courthouse, Doherty kicked a BBC reporter then ducked into his car.

Doherty was stopped on December 18 for driving while under the influence of drugs.
