The End of Limp Bizkit?

In an interview with MTV, the group’s guitarist, Wes Borland did not sound optimistic about the future of his group. "We’re officially on hiatus, maybe even officially over. It’s kind of up in the air. No one said, ‘We’re done as a band.’ Everyone’s just doing their own thing, and [some members] don’t have time for this band anymore. I haven’t quit, but I’ve also decided to stop thinking about Limp. I’m not going to keep trying to breathe life into a dying animal."

"It just ground to a halt," he continued. "We just basically stopped talking. I feel bad for the fans that [might] think something’s actually going to happen with Limp [in the future]."

Jolie and Pitt May Be Married This Weekend

The rumor appears substantial.  Even BBC has announced this joyful event.

Different sources in Italy have announced that the celebrity couple will tie the knot at the residence of a friend of fellow actor George Clooney.  This actor’s residence is in Lac de Côme. There would be a very unique ceremony around this actor’s residence.

Pitt and Jolie have been an item since the shooting of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith.  Since that time, Pitt has adopted Jolie’s two children.  Recently, the couple announced that Jolie is pregnant, and will give birth this summer.

Britney Spears Rushed to ER

The star was admitted to Hawaii State Hospital after stepping on a syringe needle.  She was getting out of the car barefoot when she stepped on the syringe.

After being hospitalized, the tests revealed that the syringe had not been used.

The singer had a bad cut, and was very shaken up.

The Smiths Will Not Be Reuniting

The group separated in 1987, and have rejected 5 million dollars to be the star group for the Coachella festival in the United  States. 

According to Billboard magazine, the leader of the group Morrissey indicated that "money doesn’t come into it".

The group was formed in 1982, and separated due to a difference in opinion.  Morrissey explained "I wanted to continue. Johnny wanted to end it. And that was that."

The Smiths released many critically acclaimed albums including The Queen is Dead, one of the best albums in history.  The Smiths’ music and social implication have given them recognition from their peers.

Jessica Simpson Snubs President Bush

Members of the Republican party were counting on the starlet to launch a financing campaign.

The singer was in the American capital on behalf of an organization called Operation Smile.  It is an organization that does reconstructive surgery to children that have a facial deformity.

The Simpson clan claims that they turned down the invitation by the politicians because it fell on the same evening as their own function.

William Hurt Playing Opposite Kevin Costner

Hurt, who was nominated for an Oscar for his performance in A History of Violence, will be playing with Costner in this psychological drama.

Costner will be playing the part of Brooks, a man that was tortured, and tries to gain control of his life.  Hurt plays Brooks’ evil side.

Shooting will begin in April.

Lollapalooza Getting Big Names

Lollapalooza which had to be cancelled in 2004, due to its rather unorthodox formula, is being done only in Chicago.

Organizer Perry Farrell, former singer of group Jane’s Addiction, confirmed the participation of big stars such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West and Wilco.

In addition to these artists, the 2006 edition will feature shows by Common, Manu Chao, Queens of the Stone Age, The Shins, Death Cab for Cutie, Matisyahu, Ween, the Raconteurs, Flaming Lips, Ryan Adams, Sonic Youth, Thievery Corporation, Sleater-Kinney, Broken Social Scene, New Pornographers, Secret Machines, Gnarls Barkley, Cursive, Stars, Calexico, Nada Surf, Nickel Creek, Lady Sovereign, Feist, the Frames, Sparta, Jeremy Enigk, Wolfmother et Eels.

The show will be in Chicago on August 4-6, and tickets will be sold for $45.00.  Organizers expect to sell 30 000 tickets.

Rumours keep circulating that Smashing Pumpkins may have it together in time to be able to perform at this concert..
