Denzel Washington Denies Rumours

The rumours are stating that Washington has been fathering children with other women, and has had numerous infidelities during his marriage.

The star of the films Training Day, Man on Fire and Remember the Titans, among others, has finally broken the silence in an interview with Essense magazine.  He said, "I’ve heard (the rumors). Having babies, I’ve left home and all this… I’m a big boy. I can take it. But what bothers me about all of that stuff is the effect on the family."

The actor added that his wife, Pauletta, is united in his fight to battle the rumours.  The two have been married for 22 years.

Joaquin Phoenix to Be CIA Agent

Phoenix will play Mr. Clark, an elite commando member rescued from Vietnam after being imprisoned with 20 other pilots.  He then is hired as a CIA agent upon his return to the States.  The thriller will be in theatres in 2007.

Currently, Phoenix is awaiting the upcoming Oscars ceremony, where he has been nominated for Best Actor for his work in the film Walk the Line.

Stars To Become Interior Designers

The two American celebrities have agreed to create a theme for the hotel chain, which will also have a condominium site in San Diego, California.

Electra, a former Baywatch star, will be responsible for the "Rock Star Goddess Suite", which will be complete with a heart shaped bath and stripper pole.  Simpson will create a "Surfer Rock Chic Suite".

Meanwhile, hip-hop group the Black Eyed Peas will design the uniforms for the hotel staff.

The suites will be on the market this spring. Prices for the regular condominiums range from $400,000 to $1.5 million.

Keira Knightley Dating Fellow Actor

According to The Mirror, the two were spotted vacationing in the Bahamas.

According to the paper a source said: "Keira and Rupert seemed totally oblivious to everyone else. They were kissing passionately and seemed really into each other."

Keira Knightley has been single since her breakup last year with model Jamie Dornan.

Artic Monkeys Big Winners at the NME Awards

The reputed British magazine New Musical Express crowned the Arctic Monkeys on Thursday in London.  The band earned the titles of Best British Group, Best New Group and Best Song for I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor.

The Sheffield group has enjoyed having their first two singles top the British charts.  Their first disc is also the biggest seller in the history of the country, selling more than 360,000 copies in one week.

Kaiser Chiefs were the winners of Best Album, while Franz Ferdinand earned the title of Best Concert.  Oasis won the prize for Best Video for The Importance of Being Idle.

Live8 organiser, Bob Geldof, was named Man of the Year.

Lindsay Lohan Flirts with an Olympian

According to IMDB, the Mean Girls, The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday star is now involved with snowboarder Shaun White.  The two met on Tuesday at New York’s Bungalow 8.

White did not hide the fact that he had met the actress, saying, "Her and I ended up meeting up at the famous Bungalow 8. It was a good time. It was a trip. Coming home from Italy, everybody’s been running up to me, saying how proud they are. It’s been crazy and so I had to get some time to have fun."

Nicole Kidman Plans to Wed in March

According to Us Weekly magazine, the Australian couple have already mailed their invitations.

Recently, there have been several rumours that the two were planning to wed.  The rumours intensified last November, when the actress began wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.

According to the magazine, the wedding will take place in Australia next month.

The Killers Sued for $16 Million

The suit was filed Tuesday in a Los Angeles court by the band’s former manager, who accuses the rockers of contract breaches, and that their new manager interfered with the relationship between band members and their former manager.

Braden Merrick, the former manager, discovered the four men in 2002.  In March, 2003, he helped the band record their first disc, Hot Fuss, which sold more than 6 million copies world wide.

Merrick’s company, From the Future, is asking for $15 million in damages as the result of a breach of contract, as well as one million dollars that he personally had invested into creating the band.

Sequels Planned for Batman and Superman

Although the two directors have not yet signed their contracts, the studio has hired Jonah Nolan, Christopher’s brother, to write the script for the next Batman.  The studio also hopes that actor Christian Bale will return to his role of Batman, while Brandon Routh will play Superman.

Superman Returns is expected to be in theatres on June 30.  The sequel projects may be ready for audiences in 2008 and 2009.
