Stars’ Maid Gets Jail Sentence
The Polish immigrant was sentenced yesterday to up to three years behind bars. Turyk-Wawrynowicz plead guilty to grand larceny, forgery and identity theft. The 35 year-old woman also made a plea to the court to allow her to return to her native Poland, however, her request was denied.
Turyk-Wawrynowicz had stolen from several celebrities, including Robert DeNiro and Candice Bergen.
Depeche Mode To Launch New DVD
The concerts took place in Milan, and the DVD is expected to be in stores by next September. The group revealed that their biggest success has been in the European countries, and their current tour there will conclude on April 3 in London.
Depeche Mode will begin their North American tour on April 29 in California. Drummer, Andrew Fletcher, told Billboard that he is excited about the next leg of their tour. "We know how popular it is in the States, and I think the bill looks very interesting," Fletcher says of Coachella. "California is probably our biggest market in the States, so we’re looking forward to that."
Heath Ledger Considers Full-Time Fathering
The Brokeback Mountain star, and a favourite for the Oscars highest honours, is hoping to spend more time at home with his newly arrived daughter, Matilda.
According to IMDB, the actor will take at least a year off to be with his daughter, and wife, actress Michelle Williams. Ledger said, "I’m going to try not to work at all this year and send Michelle out to bring in the cash. I’ll be Mr. Mom. It’s something that’s very important to me – something that every dad, if he can, should do his best to achieve."
The two will perform together at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, with much of the proceeds going to help their cause. They are hoping to raise $2.1 million that will be used to help victims of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, which took place last August and September.
John enthuses, "I’ve played in Biloxi (Mississippi) many times. I’m just glad we can do a little something for those people’s lives that will never be the same again for many, many years. God bless them."

According to a survey conducted of the magazine’s readers, the New Jersey band claimed Band of The Year, Best Song (HELENA), Best Live Act and Best Breakout Band honours, while frontman GERARD WAY was voted Sex God of 2005.
Singer Gwen Stefani was chosen as Best Solo Artist, and was also crowned Best Dressed.
At the bottom of the survey, Fall Out Boy was named Worst Group of the Year, and Worst New Artist, while Jessica Simpson earned the title of Worst Live Performance.
Jurassic Park 4 On Its Way
According to the London Free Press, director and producer Frank Marshall is ready to begin working on the fourth installment of the dinosaur movie. He explained, "has a good script now, so we should have that one up and running next year for release in 2008."
The director also added that he is working on a new Indiana Jones film as well.
Mick Jagger Against Plastic Surgery
The 62 year-old rocker’s daughter, Elizabeth, revealed the news to the Daily Mail. The 21 year-old model explained, "Dad will definitely grow old gracefully although I guess he’s already well on his way."
She added, "He might have one of the craggiest faces in the world but it’s all his own and it makes him so recognisable. I am very proud of him and his face."
When asked what she thought about those who do undergo the surgery, she said, "People who do it walk around with the same sucked in look and the same glazed expression like they’re in a permanent state of shock. It’s ridiculous."

The organizers of the event hope to raise $100 000 for the costume seen on the silver screen in 1997.
Although the film was a flop at the box office, the organizers are confident that the fact that George Clooney wore the costume, will entice the public.
