Paris Hilton Chasing a Footballer

According to the New York Post, the star is no longer dating the wealthy, Greek,  Stavros Niarchos.

Hilton’s spokesperson commented, but was unable to state for certain that they were still an item.  "I believe Paris and Stavros are still a couple."

According to information obtained by the newspaper, this relationship came to an end when Niarchos’ parents refused to meet the frivolous American.

This change in her relationship has made Hilton turn the page, and start looking at footballers.

According to the London newspaper, The Sun, Paris Hilton was seen with Chelsea’s star player in an bar after the Brit Awards last week.

Bono Donating His Guitar

The Brazilian authorities have announced that the guitar will be auctioned to raise money for the Zero Hunger campaign.

According to Agencia Brasil, the guitar will be sold after the concert the group does in São Paulo. 

The Zero Hunger campaign’s goal is to provide three meals per day to each Brazilian, by December 31, 2006.

The celebrity singer and activist met the Brazilian President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, last week.  The two men discussed the effort the Brazilian government is making to reduce famine in their country, and to develop renewable energy sources.

Last year, rocker, Lenny Kravitz, also donated a guitar to the Zero Hunger campaign.  The money raised was       $132 000.

Daniel Craig Injured While Filming James Bond

According to the Sunday Mirror, the actor playing agent 007, lost twp teeth during filming.

An on-set insider said, "Daniel was filming with some minor actors when he got hit in the face. He put his hand to his mouth but the blood started to seep through his fingers – it was horrible."

The star’s dentist flew from London to Prague to treat the hero of this 21st James Bond film.

Craig was given a protector to wear during future fighting scenes.

Details on Pitt and Aniston Divorce

According to IOL, Aniston kept the 29 million dollar residence the couple owned in Beverly Hills.  Pitt is going to have control of the Production Company, Plan B Productions that the couple owned.

Aniston will still have shares in this company, that has produced over a dozen films, such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Rolling Stones Have the Lead in Music Earnings

According to this magazine, the Stones that did a weekend concert in Rio de Janeiro with more than one million spectators, made over 245 million dollars.

U2 came in second, with its Vertigo tour, that made 219 million dollars.

Forbes added that these two groups have an additional income from the sales of CDs, and other promotional items.

Kate Moss Making Her Debut in Movie

The newest movie by the director of Brokeback Mountain will be based on the life of lesbian singer Dusty Springfield.

Moss will play the part of a rich woman who was one of Springfield’s first lovers.

South African actress Charlize Theron is going to play the part of Dusty Springfield.  This singer died of breast cancer in 1999.

Brokeback Mountain Big Winner at Baftas

At the Golden Globe Awards, Brokeback Mountain was also the big winner.  This love story about two cowboys, is looking like it may be the film of the year at the Oscars.

Director Ang Lee was honoured by the British Academy for Best Film, Best Adaptation, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Jake Gyllenhaal). 

The Constant Gardener was a movie that held 10 nominations, but left with only one award.

Nick Lachey Asks for Spousal Support

Lachey filed his demands last Friday in court.  He would like his ex-wife, singer Jessica Simpson to pay him a sum in exchange for his agreement to the divorce, filed by Simpson in December.

The couple did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement.  The 32 year old Lachey is also asking to keep certain personal objects and jewelry.

Lachey is the former singer of the group 98 Degrees, and was married to Jessica Simpson for three years.

Simpson, 25, made more than 30 million last year between her album, and her first movie The Dukes of Hazzard.

Kylie Minogue Back in the Spotlight

According to The Sun, the star has accepted posing for the April issue of Another magazine.

The photo session has been completed.  This magazine is edited by Kate Moss’ ex-fiancé, Jefferson Hack.

Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer last May.  After surgery and chemotherapy, the singer is now in remission.  She is still receiving radiotherapy treatments, as a means of prevention.

George Clooney Wants to Play Jose Mourinho

Clooney who has three Oscar nominations this year, revealed this to Sabado magazine.

The actor expalined, "It would be fun.  I have more white hair than him, but nothing is impossible." 

This was stated following Mourinho’s comments that Clooney would be the ideal actor to play him.
