Britney Spears Misses Being on the Road

In the magazine People, she explained, "This may sound weird, but I miss traveling," Spears tells People magazine. "I miss the road, seeing different places and being with the dancers and having fun. That feeling of being on the stage, knowing it’s your best — I love that. I needed a break. I needed to be hungry again."

The 24 year old woman, who gave birth to her first child in September is recording a new album.  It will be available at the end of the year.  Spears has not had any new albums since the release of Greatest Hits:  My Perogative in 2004.

Lisa Marie Presley Tied the Knot Once Again

The 38 year old woman married guitarist and musical producer Michael Lockwood.  They had a traditional ceremony in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday, February 16.

Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley was part of the ceremony.

Lisa Marie Presley has been previously married to Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage and Danny Keough.  The latter husband is the father of her two children.

Prince Albert of Monaco in Love

According to Paris-Match, the couple was spotted at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Turin.

Albert II, 47, showed signs of affection toward his companion.  The two were part of the official opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games.

The 28 year old blond swimmer represented her country at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000.  It was this same year that she met the Prince.

The young woman told the magazine she likes European men because they know how to treat women.  She described Prince Albert as "charming", and says he has this way about him.

Albert II succeeded his father Rainier last July at the head of the monarchy of Monaco.

Explicit Video of Kid Rock and Scott Stapp

The Californian company, Red Light, obtained the rights to the video filmed in a tour bus.

Red Light is the same company that distributed the movie One Night in Paris, starring Paris Hilton in 2004.

To entice the public, Red Light has made a 40 second trailer taken from the 45 minute video, available for viewing on the sites kidrocksextape.com and scottsnappsextape.com.

According to Billboard, the video was filmed in 1999 when the singers were touring together.

For this year’s Oscars, Brokeback Mountain is in the lead with 8 nominations.

The 78th annual Academy Awards will be televised live from Los Angeles on March 5.

Coldplay Denies Split Up

The commotion began when Chris Martin told the audience that the group won’t be back for a long time.

These words had a larger impact than the singer would have imagined.  In fact, even EMI Records had a drop in their stocks.

A spokesperson for the group stated that, "Coldplay is on the road until July, when their 16-month X&Y World Tour ends in Japan.  They will then continue working on new material."

Jessica Simpson’s Secret Love Life

According to In Touch Weekly magazine, the couple has openly admitted to having a relationship, although they insist that it is a new relationship.  Simpson’s reps insist that she met Levine at a pre-party for the Grammy Awards on February 6.

However, tabloids are telling a different story, saying that the two singers have been involved for nearly two years, and that the affair began while Simpson was still married to singer Nick Lachey.

Simpson and Levine met for the first time at a May, 2004 concert in Boston.  Lachey did not attend the concert, as he was out of the country.

Lawrence (Big Momma’s House 2) will be directed in the project by Walt Becker (National Lampoon’s Van Wilder).

Wild Hogs is the story of four middle-aged bikers who hit the road and run into a bunch of Hell’s Angels.  Filming for the movie is set to begin in April in New Mexico.

Il Divo To Sing at World Cup

The International Federation of Football has announced that Il Divo will perform the song Time of our Lives.

The song, written by Jorgen Elofsson, will be heard at the opening ceremony on June 9, 2006.  On May 12, the song will be available exclusively on the official album, entitled Voices.  The disc will be a compilation CD of songs recorded by several artists from a number of different countries.

Elton John Wins His Court Case

The Sunday Times was found guilty of defamation of character in an article published last June.  In the article, the paper stated that John had acted rude at one of his charity concerts to raise money for the AIDs cause.

The newspaper will write a retraction and apology article and made a monetary settlement with the singer.
