On July 27, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, plead guilty to driving while intoxicated. She was sentenced to spend four days in jail, as well as three years of probation. Paris Hilton spent 23 days behind bars for the same reason.

The 37 year-old actor announced the news yesterday on the Today show. O’Donnell and Fentress have been married since 1997, and are already the parents of Lily, 7, Chip, 6, Charlie, 4, and Finley, 16 months.
The actor has just finished filming Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery, which is a drama which will also star his daughter, Lily.

More Problems for Britney Spears
Andrew Deetz, of California, and his colleague, Kyle Henderson, were attacked by Spears as she left a Las Vegas spa.
According to Deetz, the pop star threw a baby bottle at him and threatened his life. Deetz has asked his attorney to file a legal request for financial compensation over the attack.
In the lawsuit, which has been filed in Las Vegas, the photographer accuses the singer of being attacked by Spears’ bodyguard when he was trying to take pictures of the star and her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
If found guilty, the bodyguard could face six months behind bars and be required to pay a fine of $1,000.

Melanie Brown Blames Eddie Murphy
Brown, who is also known as Scary Spice, accused Murphy yesterday during a press conference of not doing, "the right thing".
Along with her lawyer, the Spice Girl revealed that the actor has never offered to give financial support to his daughter. Brown is now asking a court "to decide what is reasonable" for the baby girl.
Brown’s attorney, Gloria Allred, recently spoke about the case. "Murphy was promising to do the right thing, but to date he has not done the right thing," said Allred. "Mr. Murphy can have all the babies he chooses to have, but his responsibility needs to be to his own children. [Brown] is seeking sole physical and legal custody."
"He bought a big diamond ring for his new fianceé," added Allred, referring to Murphy’s recent engagement to girlfriend Tracey Edmonds. "It is nice to be generous to others, but what about his own baby?"
Last June, a paternity test confirmed that Eddie Murphy is the father of Melanie Brown’s baby girl. The two split while Brown was pregnant. Since learning that he is the child’s father, he has not attempted to make any contact with his daughter.

Angelina Jolie Drops Her Case
Symine Salimpour, a French-Israeli perfume maker, will soon be releasing a fragrance called Shiloh.
When Jolie heard that a perfume was being created with her daughter’s name, she filed a note with the US Patent and Trademark Office in January.
Salimpour, however, insists that the name was chosen because of its Hebrew meaning, and not because of the celebrity baby.
After Jolie agreed to drop the case, the perfume maker agreed to donate 5% of the product’s profits to Israeli medical and educational programs for underprivileged children.
Salimpour said, "I was so scared. I mean, c’mon, who wouldn’t be? In Hebrew, Shiloh means ‘his gift.’ And I will use the perfume to give something back to the children of Israel and the Middle East."
