BIG AdminLast weekend during a press conference with the Television Critics Association, Duchovny announced that discussions are underway for a sequel to the 1998 film.
The project would be directed by Chris Carter, who wrote the screenplay for the original film. Duchovny would return to his role as agent Fox Mulder, and his co-star, Gillian Anderson, would also return to play agent Dana Scully.
The Australian singer and the French actor were recently spotted sharing dinner in Paris. The two stars, who officially split last February after four years together, have recently met for a few romantic dates.
According to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Minogue was in town for hospital appointments when she visited her former lover. The paper confirmed that the two kissed as they left the restaurant.
A spokesperson for Minogue said that the two are seeing what the future will bring.
Romijn, who starred in the film X-Men and the television series Ugly Betty, married her long-time boyfriend, Jerry O’Connell. The two stars, who have been dating for three years, were wed before many of their friends and relatives, including their dogs, Taco and Better.

Following six weeks of treatment, Lohan has left the Promises clinic in Malibu, California.
A spokesperson for Lohan said, "On Friday, July 13, 2007, Lindsay Lohan successfully completed her 45 days of residential and extended care treatment at Promises. She has transitioned to an intensive outpatient program, which includes attendance at daily AA meetings, outpatient therapy and daily testing. On her own, she has also made the decision in support of her sobriety to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet. In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served."
Rep Leslie Sloane says of her client, "She’s doing great. Lindsay is working hard on her sobriety and we are all supporting her."
The prehistoric adventure film is directed by Roland Emmerich, who also directed Godzilla, Independence Day, and Stargate, among others.
The film stars Steven Strait, Camilla Belle, Omar Sharif, Marco Khanlian and Cliff Curtis.

Watts and Owen have agreed to join the cast of the action thriller, which will be directed by German filmmaker Tom Tykwer (Run, Lola, Run, Paris, Je t’aime).
According to the Hollywood Reporter, principal filming is set to begin in Berlin in September.
The action film will follow an obsessed Interpol agent (Owen) who is investigating international bank scandals. Watts will play a Manhattan lawyer who helps the agent with his case against the bank.
The Hollywood star, who is often at the top of the list of celebrity hunks, is not impressed when he looks in the mirror. The Ocean’s Thirteen star explained, "When I look in the mirror, what I see is pretty banal. Also, when I’m tired I walk like a caveman. And I don’t like my bad moods."
