Celine Dion Announces Tour

The French-Canadian singer will embark on her tour on February 14.  Dion will take part in the Unite the Stars event in Johannesburg along with several other South African artists.

Dion will also perform in Pretoria Tswane, Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, all in South Africa. 

In May, the singer will travel to Europe, where she will perform in Belgium and Paris for six shows.  In July, Nice and Geneva are on Dion’s schedule.  The tour will be her first since she ended her permanent show in Las Vegas, which lasted for five years.

A Short Return for the Spice Girls

Victoria Beckham has revealed that nothing is planned for the Spice Girls other than one last tour, which begins in December.

Beckham said, "We’re gonna give everybody an amazing show. We have so much to celebrate. We never got the opportunity to finish it off properly and thank our fans. We’re going to territories we’ve never been to before, such as Shanghai; it’s truly a small global tour. This is the last opportunity that anybody is gonna get to see us as a group because that will be it."

The popular girl group, which was started in 1994, sold more than 76 million discs.  The group split in 2001.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Buy New Property

The stars have purchased a property that was owned by actor Rob Lowe and his wife, Sheryl, in Montecito.  Montecito is one of the wealthiest towns in America.

The new home is not far from the $50 million residence of talk-show hostess Oprah Winfrey, who is a friend of the couple.

Montecito is a favourite enclave of Hollywood celebrities, and already the home of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, former Seinfeld star Julia Louis- Dreyfus, and actor Kirk Douglas.

Penelope Cruz Denies Rumours

Since her separation from actor Matthew McConaughey in 2006, Cruz has been rumoured to be in the arms of several men.  The actress has been linked to Orlando Bloom, Josh Hartnett, and most recently, Bardem.

The star of the films Volver, Vanilla Sky and Sahara, among others, hates to talk about her private life, but did say, "I don’t read most of what is written about me."

Regarding the rumours that Cruz is involved with Bardem, her co-star from a Woody Allen film, she said, "It’s not true. He’s a friend and the best actor in the world."

Eva Longoria Talks About Her Honeymoon

Following their wedding in a castle in France, Longoria and Parker spent their honeymoon in Turks and Caicos.  The star of the television series Desperate Housewives talked about their trip to People magazine.  Longoria, 32, said, "It was so romantic, it was just the two of us. We were completely alone together. We didn’t see people for days with the exception of room service bringing us food."

The actress, who returned to work on Monday, added that Parker has been visiting her on the set of her show.  "Tony’s been great," says Longoria. "He’s been coming to the set with me since we returned to Los Angeles – just like during the season when I was going to the Spurs games. With [his] season over, he’s hanging out on the set with me. It’s a lot of fun. "

Gisele Bundchen Is At The Top

According to Forbes magazine, the Brazilian model earned $33 million US last year.  Bundchen, 26, topped competition from Britain’s Kate Moss, and Heidi Klum of Germany, who were second and third on the list.

Bundchen’s fortune comes primarily from her lucrative contract with Victoria’s Secret, but she also models for Apple, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli.

Kate Moss earned $9 million last year, while Klum earned $8 million.

Prince Puts Album on Internet

Of the three million copies offered, several of the discs were sold on eBay.

The CDs were given away by Prince via a promotion organised with a London paper.  Despite the free copies, Planet Earth will go on sale on July 24.

Jared Leto and Sarah Polley Team for Film

Directed by Jaco Van Dormael, Mr. Nobody is a story of love inspired by the "butterfly effect", the theory that a butterfly’s wings can cause a storm thousands of miles away.

Set in the future, the story follows Nemo Nobody (Leto), who is 120 years old, and the last living mortal, surrounded by immortals.

Production on the film is set to begin next week in Brussels, Montreal and Berlin.

Kelly Clarkson Admits To Using Marijuana

The Since U Been Gone singer told USA Weekend magazine that she used the drug while on a trip in Amsterdam.  The singer, who has a good reputation, claims that she took advantage of the permissive laws in the Netherlands and ate a cookie that was laced with marijuana.  Clarkson explained, "I don’t ever do anything illegal here (in America)… I’ve never tried any drugs," she told USA Weekend magazine. "I wouldn’t do anything that would cause holes in your brain or your nasal cavity."

Clarkson, who sold more than 11 million copies of her disc Breakaway, insists that she has never used drugs since her trip to Europe.

More Bad News for Lindsay Lohan

The star of the films Freaky Friday and Georgia Rule, among others, is now hoping to stop the nude pictures from being released.  According to Celebslam.com, the photos of Lohan were taken by her former boyfriend, Calum Best.

The site confirms that Lohan knows that someone hacked into her computer and stole the pictures.  Lohan says that someone, "broke into my computer and left a file on my desktop saying he got the pictures Cal took from me naked."

Recently, the 21 year-old actress left a rehabilitation centre after a 45 day program.
