Paul McCartney Offers Free Concert

The lucky people watched the former Beatle at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.  McCartney was promoting his latest disc, Memory Almost Full.

The secret show was announced just hours before McCartney took the stage.  Among the VIP guests in the crowd were supermodel Kate Moss and actor Pierce Brosnan.

Anne Heche Accused of Lying

Coley Laffoon filed papers in a Los Angeles court which refute the story that Heche has a close relationship with her five year-old son, Homer.

In the papers, Laffoon tells that court that it should question the mental health of the actress.  In 2001, Heche wrote a book called "Call Me Crazy", which documented her problems with mental illness.

The relationship between the two former spouses is becoming very strained.  Heche has already accused Laffoon of frequenting strip clubs, playing poker and watching online pornography.

Sean Connery Will Not Star in Indiana Jones 4

The legendary 76 year-old star does not want to return at the father of Indiana Jones, which he played in 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

In 2005, Connery announced that he didn’t plan to work on the film.  He said, "I thought long and hard about it, and if anything could have pulled me out of retirement it would have been an Indiana Jones film. I love working with Steven and George, and it goes without saying that it is an honor to have Harrison as my son. But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun."

Jack Johnson In the Recording Studio

The folk-pop singer plans to release his next disc in the beginning of 2008.

The filmmaker-turned-singer has been working with music producer JP Plunier for the project.  Plunier has been a long-time collaborater with Johnson and worked with him on his first disc in 2001, Brushfire Fairytales.

Jackson told Billboard magazine, "We’ve been good friends ever since."

The singer added that his disc is 75% complete, "I think if it’s all finished at this point, it’s a little stale in the studio. It’s kind of fun to leave space to go in a certain direction with the lyrics, I think."

George Michael Found Guilty

London’s Brent Court sentenced the 43 year-old star, who was found guilty of driving his car while under the influence.  The singer was arrested last October after he was found sleeping in the driver’s seat of his car.

"I’m glad to put this behind me", Michael said.  "Now I’m off to do the biggest show of my life."

Angelina Jolie Honoured

According to People magazine, the Hollywood star joins some prestigious names also on the council, including former American Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, ABC journalist Diane Sawyer, American Department Secretary Condoleeza Rice and journalist Tom Brokaw.

A spokesperson for the CRF talked about Jolie’s entrance to the council.  "Angelina Jolie is accomplished in her field and has demonstrated serious interest in issues such as Darfur, international education and refugees," says Lisa Shields, vice president of communications at CFR. "As such, her profile fits very well with other young professionals we’ve selected as the next generation of foreign policy leaders."

Paris Hilton’s Punishment Is Not Over

Los Angeles authorities are requesting that Hilton return to prison to serve the remainder of her sentence.  This morning at 9:00, Hilton, 26, is to report to Judge Michael T. Sauer, who will likely send her back to jail.

The California court is not happy with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, who made the decision to send Hilton home.  Hilton was then to serve the remaining days of her sentence under surveillance at her own home while wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.

Few details were given regarding the decision to send Hilton home, although a health problem for the starlet was mentionned.

Richie Sambora Enters Rehab

The star entered a treatment program on Wednesday in California.  The news was confirmed by a representative for Sambora.  "Richie Sambora has entered an undisclosed treatment facility in Los Angeles," the rep said in a statement. "He asks that you respect he and his family’s privacy at this time."

The exact nature of the problems that Richie is experiencing has not been revealed.

Richie, 47, has had a difficult year.  He recently split from his girlfriend, actress Denise Richards.  Last April, he became officially divorced from actress Heather Lockleah, and the same month, his father died.

It is not yet known whether Sambora’s treatment will affect his professional activities with Bon Jovi.  The band will release their next disc, Lost Highway, on June 19.

Paris Hilton Released from Jail

The precise medical problem has not been revealed by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department, but authorities have confirmed that the star will now be confined to her home.

Hilton, who will be wearing an electronic ankle bracelet, was to serve 23 days behind bars.

According to authorities, the decision was made after an intense consultation with medical personnel.

Paul Sculfor, 36, has stolen the heart of the Hollywood star.  Last weekend, the two were seen sharing a romantic dinner and holding hands.

The model, who has worked with Christian Dio, Jean Paul Gaultier and Levi’s, among others, has a very good reputation as a man who puts his female friends first.  According to People magazine, he is a true gentleman, and does the simple things, like opening doors for ladies.

Aniston, 38, has been single for several months following her split from actor Vince Vaughn.  Sculfor was involved with George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon, for two years.
