Beyonce Knowles the Diva

Fans who had won a chance to meet the star backstage from a radio contest were unhappy to learn that they would not be allowed to carry their bags into the room, ask any question, take photographs, or shake Beyonce’s hand.  One of the fans told Britain’s The Sun, "It was supposed to be a bit of fun but I felt like I was under surveillance. It was like Beyonce was wrapped in cotton wool."

Another woman added, "There were lots of bodyguards watching and I wasn’t happy about leaving my handbag in the corridor."

Paris Hilton Returns To Prison

The saga of Paris Hilton’s sentence was heard again in court today.  At 9:00 this morning, a Los Angeles judge ordered Hilton to return to jail to serve the remainder of her sentence, reversing a sheriff’s decision to have her released and serve her sentence from her home.

The sheriff had released the 26 year-old star and ordered her to stay in her home for health reasons.  The specific health reason was never explained, and the judge did not agree with the sheriff’s ruling.

Since her release, the Los Angeles supervisor’s office had received more than 500 complaints from citizens that believed that Hilton had been given special treatment due to her celebrity status.
