Christina Aguilera Fuels Pregnancy Rumours

The reports of a pregnancy are gaining momentum due to the fact that Aguilera’s representative has not responded to stories that Aguilera and her husband recently visited a New York fertility clinic.

This is not the first time that pregnancy rumours have started regarding the 26 year-old singer and her husband, Jordan Bratman.

The two married in November of 2005, after three years of dating.  Aguilera has spoken publicly about their interest in having a family, saying, "We’d absolutely like to have kids one day."

Cameron Diaz Wants to Take A Break

The In Her Shoes star hopes to find a better balance between her personal life and her career.  Diaz explained, "It’s not that I don’t want to work again. I’m itching to get back to it but I’m not going to make a movie just to make a movie. Ten years ago, I did film after film after film. I remember someone I was working with asked what I was doing next and I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to do another movie. I’m on this train and it’s not stopping’. And then I started seeing the unhappiness in people like that because there was no balance in their lives."

Oprah Winfrey Named Most Powerful Star

Winfrey, who hosts a talk show with an audience of 30 million each week, has topped the list of powerful stars by Forbes magazine.  Winfrey took first place, while golfer Tiger Woods and singer Madonna came in second and third, respectively.

The list was determined based on the revenu earned by the celebrities, in addition to their presence on the Internet, television and radio.

Here are the top ten most powerful celebrities, according to Forbes magazine:

Princes William and Harry Sit for Interview

The interview will air on NBC on June 18 on editions of The Today Show and Dateline NBC.  Extracts of the interview were presented yesterday.

The two young men, who were only 15 and 13 when their mother died in 1997, responded to questions concerning the life of their mother, her death, and her legacy.

"I think people will always have a fascination about her," said Harry, now 22. "And journalists believe there’s a need to read about her a need to be reminded about her…I can’t really ever see it ending really…"

"She wasn’t always herself in front of the camera," revealed Harry. "She was much more natural behind the scenes, when there was no one else there and she could be herself. I don’t know if it’s the right thing to say, but she was quite good-acting if you know what I mean."

Britney Spears Asks Fans For Help

Following some suprise performances last month in California, the 25 year-old star is convinced that her next CD will be a success.

Spears is giving her fans the chance to provide the title for the upcoming disc.  Fan club members can choose from the following titles:

2) What if the Joke is on You
3) Down boy
4) Integrity
5) Dignity

No release date has been announced for the CD.

Prince Teams With Columbia Records

The Minneapolis singer will release the new CD on July 24.  Just days after the release, Prince will begin a world tour of 15 concerts that will begin in London.  Tickets for the shows sold out in just minutes.

The first single from Planet Earth is the song Guitar, which has already been sent to radio stations.

Prince has sold more than 100 million discs around the world.  His career has had several successful songs such as Purple Rain, Kiss, Raspberry Beret, When Doves Cry, Let’s Go Crazy, 1999, Sign O The Times, and others.

In less than 30 years in the business, the singer has created more than forty albums under the name Prince, or some other pseudonymes.

Paris Hilton Gets A Visit From Her Parents

The brief meeting took place with a glass security partitian between them.  The mother of the Simple Life star revealed that her daughter is suffering from a cold and lack of sleep, but that she is doing well.

"It’s tough in there. It’s cold," Kathy Hilton said after she and Paris’s father Rick had a 30-minute visit with their daughter Tuesday. "It’s just good to see her."

"She was very happy," Kathy said. "She wants to just do her time and get on with it."

Hilton was also recently dropped by her talent agency. 

Paris Hilton is serving a 23 day sentence in a Los Angeles prison for violating her parole by driving on a suspended driver’s license.

More Difficulties for Lindsay Lohan

Lohan, who is currently in a detoxification centre for the second time in months, is being sued by a rental car company for having crashed into one of their vehicles.

Gradeur Inc. is suing the starlet for the accident, which took place on October 4, 2005.  The company is asking for $3,600 for hitting the parked van.

At the time of the incident, Lohan was being pursued by the paparazzi.  She hit the vehicle after making an illegal u-turn, and was transported to a hospital.

Kate Winslet Teams With Lancome

Winslet will be replacing Isabella Rossellini in the role of spokesperson for the fragrance.  The 31 year-old Titanic star joins models Daria Werbowy and Ines Sastre, and actors Uma Thurman and Clive Owen, in representing Lancome.

Winslet is currently working on the film Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio.  It will be the first time the two stars share the screen since Titanic in 1997.

Kylie Minogue Honoured

The organising committee wants to recognise the Australian singer’s twenty years in the business.  Considered to be one of the most diverse stars of all time, the 39 year-old will be honoured on October 29 in London.

The 16th annual gala will also pay tribute to the work of Elton John and Peter Gabriel.

Minogue, who first came to stardom with the 1987 song I Should Be Lucky, is currently working on her 10th disc, which should be released at the end of the year.

Last year, the singer battled breast cancer and was forced to cancel her professional activities.
