We all know Flyjin for its lively parties that go on until the wee hours. But behind this reputation, we often forget that it also offers refined cuisine—and now, a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails designed to let you enjoy the atmosphere without necessarily ending up with the headache that usually comes with it. With a new generation consuming differently, Flyjin is adapting and redefining the act of “having a drink” by launching SMART BAR.
With the launch of SMART BAR, the Montreal establishment offers a menu of six non-alcoholic cocktails integrated into its regular lineup. Each mocktail is crafted with the same precision as a classic cocktail, featuring complex ingredients such as yuzu, Japanese teas, functional mushrooms, and botanical bitters.
Having tried all six, here are our impressions: The Cellular Circuit and the Runway Set are excellent fresh alternatives that aren’t too sweet, featuring mango and matcha, respectively. For a bit more bitterness, the Elemental Pulse showcases passion fruit in a stunning presentation. Meanwhile, the Mood Protocol stands out for its rich, raspberry-infused, and vibrant character. The Zero Gravity offers something akin to a mojito with a hint of grapefruit, while the Lucid Ember perfectly captures the essence of a martini.
Created by head mixologist Juan Pablo Castro, the menu explores a blend of flavors with drinks that are all equally distinct and intriguing. Furthermore, each cocktail promises specific sensory experiences—energy, calm, focus—to match the rhythm of the evening.
Flyjin’s new SMART BAR reflects a transformation in nightlife. It’s a way to go out, socialize, and have a blast, all while staying fully energized. Sample the delicious Japanese menu available starting at 8 PM—perfect for kicking off the evening—and drink (smartly) all night long.
