Montréal Boréal is a festive and free outdoor winter event that will celebrate its 4th edition on February 7 and 8 in Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier Park in the Saint-Henri neighborhood.

A winter weekend in the great outdoors

Montréal Boréal invites families and friends to enjoy a warm moment in a unique boreal atmosphere, without having to leave the city. Inspired by northern folklore, the event transforms the park into a winter playground. On the program: a snow-covered playground for young and old, musical performances and boreal storytelling, lumberjack demonstrations, snowboarding lessons, line dancing, treasure hunts, and many other activities.

For those chilly moments, head to the Refuge, a large heated igloo where you can gather and warm up. The central hub of the event, it will offer board games, light shows, and a friendly and lively atmosphere. The perfect place to relax après-ski and enjoy a hot chocolate.

The event also highlights local businesses in the neighborhood: restaurants, cafés, and shops are just a few steps away to extend the boreal experience with comfort food, hot drinks, or simply a stroll through Saint-Henri after the event.
