From March 17 to 28, Quebec City celebrates Saint Patrick’s Day with a free cultural program for everyone. Shows, sports activities, dances, conferences, and historical events will allow all interested parties to discover the city’s Irish heritage.

The highlight of the event will be the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on March 28 at 2 p.m., from Cartier and Fraser to the Château Frontenac. More than 1,000 participants, including bagpipe and percussion groups from Toronto, Boston, New York, and Chicago, will enliven the streets, accompanied by the mascots Les Titans and Les Éclairs. Robert Dinan, ambassador of Irish heritage, will be the Grand Marshal of this 14th edition.

Throughout the festivities, a variety of themed activities will enliven the neighborhoods of Old Quebec. These include an Irish dance evening, an introduction to Gaelic football, a whiskey tasting, screenings of the films Song of the Sea and Sing Street, a family walking tour, and much more.

It’s the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Irish music, culture, and hospitality! To see the full program and plan your visit, go here.
