The countdown has begun for Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant. From July 29 to August 2, 2026, the music festival will take over the public spaces of downtown Saint-Jovite for five days of celebrations entirely dedicated to jazz. For this 19th edition, more than 30 free concerts featuring nearly 100 artists will be presented on two outdoor stages, in addition to a program of events taking place at several venues in Mont-Tremblant.
As the only festival entirely dedicated to Quebec jazz, the event continues its mission to showcase local artists while offering the public a diverse program that appeals to both enthusiasts and the curious alike.
Unmissable evenings under the stars
Each evening, the Grande Scène will host the main headliners as part of the Desjardins Jazz Under the Stars series. The festival kicks off on July 29 with the Quiet Quintet, which will pay tribute to trumpeter Kenny Dorham and saxophonist Joe Henderson.
The following day, saxophonist Rémi Bolduc will present his Groove Quintet project, followed on Friday by saxophonist and composer Christine Jensen, a leading figure in Canadian jazz and a JUNO Award winner.
On Saturday, trumpeter Joe Sullivan will take center stage at this 19th edition’s main event with his sextet, while Benjamin Deschamps will close out the festival on Sunday with Augmented Reality, a show featuring a more electric sound.
In the early evening, the Jazz Extra Promutuel Assurance Alta series will also showcase several Quebec-based groups. Festivalgoers will have the chance to discover the Tevet Sela Quartet, the Maxime Racicot Trio, Sonia Johnson and Stephen Johnston, Uptown Brigade, and the Kate Wyatt Trio, which will present its latest album on closing night.
A rich lineup throughout the day
The Jazz Lounge Stage will also feature several daily events.
Every morning at 11 a.m., the “Rencontres de maîtres” will give the public the chance to interact with renowned musicians, including Pierre Côté, Rémi Bolduc, Christine Jensen, Joe Sullivan, and Benjamin Deschamps, who will share their career journeys, musical approaches, and sources of inspiration.
At 1 p.m., the Série Relève Jazz will spotlight the next generation of musicians with performances by the Thierry Du Sablon Quartet, the Maude Fortier Quartet, the Gabriel Newman Quintet, the Jaden Mavalwala Quartet, and the Charlotte Van Dyke Quartet.
The afternoons will then feature the Jazz Lounge Series, with performances by the Pierre Côté Trio, the Kulusé Souriant Quartet, the Loïk Martin Trio, the MD Jazz Funk Electro Band, and the Dominique Poirier Quartet, offering a range of styles from traditional jazz to funk and electro influences.
Jazz Takes Over Every Corner of Mont-Tremblant
Alongside the performances on the main stages, the Jazz Club Series will take place at several venues in downtown and the Old Village, near Lake Mercier. These free concerts will offer a more intimate atmosphere while allowing attendees to discover different groups at the festival’s partner venues.
With its free concerts, meet-and-greets with artists, and commitment to promoting local jazz, Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant once again promises to transform downtown Saint-Jovite into a true musical destination for five days.
