A disturbing incident occurred on the afternoon of March 8, 2026, near Rihanna‘s residence in Beverly Hills. A woman was reportedly arrested after allegedly firing several shots at the singer’s property.
According to authorities, the Los Angeles Police Department responded at around 1:20 p.m. after receiving a call reporting gunshots in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood. Reports indicate that the suspect fired several rounds from an AR-15-type rifle from a vehicle, aiming directly at the singer’s residence.
At the time of the incident, the singer was inside the house she shares with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky. The couple lives there with their three young children.
Fortunately, no one was injured. However, police found several bullet holes in the property’s gate and in a vehicle parked in the driveway.
A source close to Rihanna’s family reportedly assured the American media that everyone is « doing well. »
Suspect quickly apprehended
According to a radio recording obtained by the Los Angeles Times, approximately ten shots were fired from a white Tesla parked across the street. The vehicle then reportedly left the scene. Shortly thereafter, a woman in her thirties named Ivanna Lisette Ortiz was reportedly arrested by authorities. During a search of the vehicle, police reportedly found an assault rifle and several shell casings.
She is reportedly being held on attempted murder charges and remains in custody with bail set at $10.2 million. At this time, the motive for the attack remains unknown and the investigation is ongoing. Neither Rihanna nor her representatives have publicly commented on the incident at the time of writing.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time the singer has had to deal with a security incident involving one of her properties.
