Donald Trump is raking in cash with crypto

Donald Trump has been quietly raking in billions of dollars in cryptocurrency with meme coins, NFT’s, and a crypto marketplace. It’s always been obvious that Trump’s political goals are almost entirely financial, and his newest venture is reportedly confirming this feeling.

Crypto companies donated at least $41 million since January to Trump’s political action committee to help elect pro-crypto congresspeople

$TRUMP, $MELANIA, and USD1 were released in early 2025, immediately gaining mass wealth.

Now according to the Wall Street Journal, Trump’s meme coins have created over $5 billion of wealth, on paper.

The ‘on paper’ part is important here; meme coins have a history of collapsing overnight.

But, when they do, it’s almost always to the benefit of the coins owner, not the individual investors.

The first ‘crypto president

Some forgot that Trump ran on calling himself the “first crypto President”. At the time, the statement went forgotten by the vast majority of people (how could it not?), but clearly he was serious, and it’s working. Right now, Trump has a plethora of digital crypto content.

The ‘holdings’ even include digital trading cards featuring Trump wearing a superhero’s cape…

If I am elected, it will be the policy of my administration, United States of America, to keep 100% of all the bitcoin the U.S. government currently holds or acquires into the future,

-Donald Trump

Other holdings include multiple meme coins ($TRUMP, $MELANIA), ‘Stablecoins’ (coins tied to the US dollar like USD1), and a variety of other tokens.

The real kicker, though, is that all of these coins and tokens are being traded on a marketplace owned by the Trump family.

All of these assets are bought, sold, and monitored on World Liberty Financial, a marketplace created by Trump’s sons.

Trump’s second-born, Eric, commented on the evaluations of the asset, claiming that the total was “probably more” in an interview with The Financial Times. He also went on social media, stating:

« We’re setting a new standard for financial freedom; built on trust, speed, and U.S. values, » and then bragging:

« This is a huge moment for the future of money! »

40 million Americans are living in poverty

All of this comes when more than 40 million Americans are living in poverty.

One wonders how long it will take for that $5 billion to trickle down…

Pivoting till the cows come home

Donald Trump’s list of full-on failures outweighs his successes tenfold, and since being elected, that track record has somehow not improved.

This shift to crypto represents another pivot in a long line of desperate attempts to grow his wealth and keep his businesses afloat.

One of Trump’s original presidential ventures was Truth Social and the Trump Media & Technology Group. That attempt lost $401 million in 2024, before shifting its assets to crypto in 2025.

According to mandatory financial disclosures, Trump now holds roughly 15.75 billion WLFI tokens worth more than $3.4bn, making crypto the most significant source of his fortune and overshadowing his wealth tied up in shadily-purchased property (see property purchases in Qatar, Dubai, Israel, etc).

Lawmakers in bed with crypto

While a president selling what are essentially stocks related to his fame and the U.S. dollar is obviously a conflict of interest on many levels, the White House maintains that all actions are above board, with Karoline Leavitt claiming:

“Neither the President nor his family have ever engaged, or will ever engage, in conflicts of interest”.

In May, Donald Trump Jr. told the audience of a bitcoin conference in Las Vegas that policymakers in charge of crypto regulations were now “invested in [crypto] themselves.”

He went on to brag about how this will “bode very well for the community”.

To prove their loyalty to the newly-found technocrat, crypto companies donated at least $41 million since January to Trump’s political action committee to help elect pro-crypto congresspeople, and it’s only October!

More than 40 percent of Trump supporters said they had not heard of Trump’s meme coin or the family crypto platform.

A third of Americans believe that Donald Trump has not financially benefited from his presidency at all.

Trump urges Zelensky to surrender vast Ukrainian territories to Russia: «Let it be cut the way it is»

Volodymyr Zelensky’s most recent visit to the White House did not unfold as he had hoped.

While the Ukrainian president sought to secure an agreement for the delivery of Tomahawk missiles, the Financial Times, later echoed by The Daily Beast, reported that Trump privately told him to surrender all territory invaded by Russia or face total destruction by Moscow.

Trump reportedly told Zelensky to surrender territory or face destruction from his friend-again Putin.

A tunnel between Russia and Alaska

At the same time, Vladimir Putin appeared to muddy the waters by reengaging with Trump and planning a new in-person meeting with the U.S. president.

During Zelensky’s visit to the White House, Trump brought up a recent Russian proposal to build a tunnel between Russia and Alaska, an idea put forward by Kremlin envoy Kirill Dmitriev. Trump called it «an interesting one» and said he «would have to think about it».

When asked by Donald Trump about the idea, he responded straightforwardly: «I’m not happy with this».

This strange, and likely deliberate, exchange set the tone for Zelensky’s visit, as a report from the Financial Times, echoed by The Daily Beast, indicated that the meeting turned tense behind closed doors.

All Russian-occupied territory

Trump allegedly told Zelensky in blunt terms to surrender all Russian-occupied territory or face Ukraine’s total destruction by Russia. This proposal aligns precisely with Vladimir Putin’s demands, suggesting that Trump has no intention of supporting any Ukrainian gains in response to Russia’s invasion.

«It’s cut up right now.»

A few days before his White House meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump held a phone call with Vladimir Putin on 16 October. During the call, both sides discussed the possibility of a summit in Budapest involving Russia and the United States.

Following his visit on American soil, Zelensky expressed his wish to be included in such talks as part of a trilateral peace process, a request that, so far, has gone unanswered.

Donald Trump appeared to indirectly confirm the Financial Times report when questioned by reporters aboard Air Force One.

Trump suggested that the best way to end the war in Ukraine would be to «cut up» the country in a way that leaves most of it under Russian control, specifically referencing the Donbas region: «Leave it the way it is right now.»

«They can negotiate something later on down the line.»

Over many months

Referring to territories currently occupied by Russian forces, Trump added: «It’s cut up right now.»

Trump declared that «they can negotiate something later on down the line», but for now, Trump urged both sides of the conflict to «stop at the battle line.»

These comments by the president seem to reflect his views over many months, but not those of last month, when he abruptly reversed his stance on Ukraine. He had accused Ukraine of being responsible for the war, yet suddenly claimed that he believed Ukraine could reclaim all its territory and even «go further» into Russian lands, suggesting he might provide U.S. Tomahawk missiles to help them defend themselves.

Trump dumps feces on protesters in unhinged AI clip

Following the massive «No Kings» protest across the United States over the weekend, Donald Trump released an AI-generated video showing himself with a crown, aboard a military jet named «King Trump», dumping a load of shit on protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.

Donald Trump acknowledged the “No Kings” protests organized against him on Saturday by sharing an incredibly bizarre AI-generated video of himself as a king, flying over protests and dumping mysterious brown sludge on protestors.

The Daily Beast (@thedailybeast.bsky.social) 2025-10-19T03:31:21.107498Z

The largest protest in modern U.S. history

More than 2,700 «No Kings» rallies were held in all 50 states, with many describing the protest, according to the Times, as «the largest in modern U.S. history».

The AI video quickly drew backlash and disbelief that a president could sink to such a level, as Americans concluded the largest mobilization to date against the Trump administration.

«I bet you’ll see Hamas supporters, I bet you’ll see antifa types»

According to Variety, the video in which Trump dumps a load of shit on protesters is set to the Top Gun theme song «Danger Zone» by Kenny Loggins, who has publicly condemned the unauthorized use and demanded that the track be removed immediately.

Vice President J.D. Vance mocked the outrage generated by Donald Trump on the social platform Bluesky, sharing an AI‑video of Trump wearing a crown and followed by Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, bowing to him.

The «Hate America Rally»

In the days leading up to the «No Kings» protest, top Republicans dismissed the movement as dangerous and politically staged. House Speaker Mike Johnson called it the «Hate America Rally», claiming, «I bet you’ll see Hamas supporters, I bet you’ll see antifa types». He later added, «They needed a stunt… they needed a show». Other GOP figures echoed the sentiment, describing the protest as a Marxist-inspired spectacle designed to distract from the ongoing government shutdown.

Trump’s Truth Social post served as a defiant counter-message to the «No Kings» protest, framing dissent as subversive and reaffirming his own image as an untouchable, militarized figure of authority.

The video’s release underscored the administration’s refusal to engage with the protest’s democratic message, instead portraying opposition as something to be dominated or humiliated, symbolized by the dump of shit falling on an AI-generated version of Harry Sisson, a 21-year-old liberal political commentator and activist known for his pro-democracy content on social media.

An unprecedented abuse of presidential power

The second «No Kings» protest saw a surge in participation, with an estimated 2 million more people than the first protest in June, driven by what many view as an unprecedented abuse of presidential power by Donald Trump during his second term.

Getty Images

Since returning to office, his administration has taken a series of controversial actions: deploying the National Guard to Democratic-run cities, sending masked federal agents to carry out military-style raids and detain individuals without due process, cracking down on left-wing and liberal groups, and using the Department of Justice to go after perceived political opponents.

Trump has publicly called for prosecutions via Truth Social, and the DOJ has already brought charges against several high-profile figures, including former FBI Director James Comey, former National Security Advisor John Bolton, and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

According to Politico, Speaker Mike Johnson defended the video by framing it as satire. He said Trump was «using satire to make a point» and praised his use of social media, calling him «probably the most effective person» at it: «He is using satire to make a point. He is not calling for the murder of his political opponents.»
