U.S. Secretary of State chooses Montreal over Toronto

Anthony Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, will be in Ottawa on Thursday and in Montreal on Friday for his first visit to Canada since taking charge of U.S. diplomacy.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly, will take the opportunity to present the most beautiful attractions of the city, reports La Presse.

However, presenting activities to a member of the U.S. government is complex because the plan must be verified and approved by the Secret Service before it can be put into action!

Blinken was supposed to leave earlier for the United States, but he kindly accepted Ms. Joly’s invitation. These few hours in Montreal prove that he has a “special” relationship with Joly.

This claim was made by an anonymous government source.

As this source said, Blinken could have chosen Toronto instead of Montreal, but he opted for the city of the Sainte-Flanelle, which may say a lot about the good relationship between him and Melanie Joly.

Ms. Joly was in Washington on September 30 for a one-on-one meeting with the Secretary of State, which will be a second meeting for the duo in a short time.

Amazon delivery man killed by two guard dogs

According to information delivered by FOX 4 of Kansas City, a deliveryman of the mega-company Amazon was attacked by two guard dogs, finally dying on the property of the customer.

The body of the individual is said to have remained on the location for several hours, before the neighborhood decided to contact the authorities because of the Amazon van that was parked in the same place for a very long time.

Once on the scene, police officers quickly came upon the unconscious body, as two very aggressive dogs in the area were circling the victim’s body.

The officers had to shoot the dogs, but it was ultimately the first responders who killed the two unknown breeds.

In the case of the owner of the dogs, he was still unaccounted at that moment.

For the moment, this incident is under investigation, although the cause of death has not yet been determined.

However, the driver’s injuries are consistent with a dog attack, according to the sheriff’s office.

A Tom Brady card sold for $2.4M!

Tom Brady has just made headlines once again, and this time it’s because of a signed and numbered rookie card that was purchased by a collector for $2.4 million dollars!

https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj4DX39pPSV/

This 8 of 100 card, which means there are only 100 in the world, is the most expensive football card sold at public auction this year.

The card was delivered by Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket and it passed the $1 million mark after 16 hours of auctioning, which is sensational.

This price is not the highest of any card in any sport, however, as two other trading cards were purchased at a higher price this year at public auction.

The main reason it “went” for such an exorbitant price was because it was graded mint and the signature was graded perfect.

Of the 100 cards, only a few were graded “perfect”, so that increases the rarity of this one to $2.4 million.

Congratulations to the new owner, who got his hands on something that every sports card collector has wanted.

“Underrated”: Stephen Curry will have his own documentary

For the past decade, Stephen Curry has been considered one of the top five players in the NBA, and his playoff prowess is a testament to his immense talent, but also to his determination and desire to win.

Everywhere he went to “lead” a basketball game, he was underestimated by many, including some of his coaches. This belief drove him to become stronger, and to prove to all those who underestimated him that he was the best on the court.

For this reason, the documentary being made about his perseverance-driven story will be called Underrated.

Emmy winner Peter Nicks will direct the documentary that will showcase Steph Curry as the man and athlete he is. The doc will be produced by Apple Original Films, A24, Unanimous Media (owned by Curry) and Proximity Media.

The documentary will focus on his historic success at the 2008 NCAA March Madness, in addition to his style of play that has taken him to the highest level, breaking records, changing the course of the game, winning four championships and becoming an “MVP.”

In short, through this film, people will fully grasp why the label “overlooked” is attached to Stephen Curry, the best three-point shooter in NBA history.

Lewis Hamilton raced against a jet!

Lewis Hamilton showed up at a runway with the goal of defeating a jet in a drag race, which is side by side in a straight line for 1/4 mile.

“I took the W12 out for a special occasion a while back. It’s not every day you get to race a jet. Nearly had him too! Always a pleasure!”

A second video is also available, and this one was captured by Lewis himself. The number 44 is thus able to “text” with his cell phone in hand, while driving at top speed with his Mercedes W12. Wow!

The combined sound of F1 and the “jet” is quite a concert for the ear canal!

This live run from an airstrip may prove that Lewis really wants to be Maverick from Top Gun, especially since he flew in his latest opponent!

It should be noted that Lewis is 6th in the F1 driver rankings this year, with a car that is not yet ready.

Let’s remember that he is looking for his 8th career championship, which would allow him to surpass the legend Michael Schumacher. The two drivers are tied with a total of seven championships, a great feat.
