Watch the Trailer for Spider-Man 3

The film was directed by Sam Raimi, who also directed the first two installments of the film franchise.  Spider-Man 3 stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in the lead roles.

In the newest chapter, Spider-Man is confronted by new forces of evil and at the same time will battle his own inner darkness.

Denise Richards and Pamela Anderson Sued

Two photographers are accusing the women of assault, defamation, verbal abuse and negligence.

The incident took place last November in Canada.  The two stars were staying at the River Rock Casino filming the movie Blonde and Blonder when photographers Rik Redyck and Scott Cosman starting snapping pictures.

Denise Richards became enraged and took a laptop computer from the men and threw it over a balcony.  The laptap then landed on an elderly woman who was in the lobby.

According to the lawsuit, which was filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, Richards and Anderson lied to the media about the incident in order to make the photographers look guilty.  The two men are claiming that they have lost wages due to the incident and are asking for unspecified damages.  The outcome of the case will be determined by a jury.

Eric Clapton Planning New Crossroads Festival

The event, which raises money for the Crossroads rehabilitation clinic, will take place on July 28 in Chicago.

In addition to Clapton, the festival will feature performances by B.B. King, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Steve Winwood, Albert Lee, Derek Trucks, Alison Krauss & Union Station, John McLaughlin, Sonny Landreth, the Robert Cray Band, Hubert Sumlin, Doyle Bramhall and Jimmie Vaughan.

Jolie and Pitt Make Generous Contribution

The two actors have donated $100,000 to create the first medical clinic in Duk County in Sudan.

According to People magazine, the clinic will open later this spring to serve the population of 150,000.  The clinic will be in the village of Dau, which has been struggling from the civil war taking place in the African country.

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio Reunite

For the first time since their successful film Titanic, the two stars will again be working together on the set of a film.

Revolutionary Road, which will be directed by Sam Mendes, is set in the 1950s.  According to Variety, the film will follow the story of a couple in Connecticut who are caught between their true desires and their desires to conform.

Britney Spears Gets Injunction

Thursday, lawyers for the American star received an injunction from the High Court in London that will force publications to name their source if they publish a story regarding Spears and her time in a detoxification centre.

The injunction bars unidentified "person or persons … who has/have been leaking information about Ms. Spears’ time in a rehabilitation clinic from further disclosures invading her privacy".

Britney Spears, 25, left the Promises clinic in Malibu, California recently after completing a four week program.

Spears entered the centre on February 22.  Just hours before entering treatment, the singer shaved her head and attacked a photographer in a car with an umbrella.

According to her website, the former Baywatch star writes that she is very happy being single.

Following two unsuccessful marriages, the blonde beauty seems to be learning from her mistakes.  She wrote on her site, "My biggest concern has always been my boys – they are completely well adjusted, happy and thriving."

The Red Hot Chili Peppers Cancels Shows

The shows that were scheduled for Tokyo and Osaka have been called off due to singer Anthony Kiedis, who is suffering from bronchitis.  The tour’s promoter plans to reschedule the shows for some time in the fall.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing in Australia and New Zealand in April.  In July and August, the band will play several shows in Europe.

Jet Li In Talks for Next Film

The 43 year-old star, who is best known for his action films such as Hero, Fearless, and Kiss of the Dragon, is considering a role in the Rob Cohen film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film would be set in China and continues through World War II.

The first two films of the series earned more than $830 million at box-offices world wide.

According to Radar magazine, the couple accepted a payment of $2 million in exchange for photographs of the three year-old boy.

According to Radar, People magazine have the exclusive pictures of the young Vietnamese child that has been adopted by the stars.  People denies that they have exclusivity, noting that pictures will also appear this week in Hello! magazine.
