No Sex Tape Involving Britney Spears

Lawyer for Kevin Federline, former husband of singer Britney Spears, revealed that there has never been a a sexual video.

Lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, stated that there were "reports rampant in the press and media regarding rumors of alleged attempts by Kevin Federline", to sell a video.

For the last few days, sources have disclosed that Federline wanted to swap an intimate video, for custody of his kids.

The lawyer added that, "anyone who reports that they have information of such attempts is either lying or reporting the lie of someone else."

Federline and Spears were married in 2004, and filed for a divorce last month.  Federline is asking for joint custody.

Winners at The American Music Awards

The Black Eyed Peas led the nominations in three categories (Best Rap/Hip Hop, Best Soul/R&B, and Best Album for Monkey Business.  The group was not able to accept the awards in person, since they are currently touring in Cuba.

The artists not present to accept their awards certainly did change the evening. Other big winners were also absent including Kelly Clarkson (2 awards), Red Hot Chili Peppers (2 award), and Eminem (1 award).

A singer who was absent, with three nominations, but no wins, was Mariah Carey.  The 36-year-old singer experienced something similar in 1997 when she did not win for any of the six nominations.

Jimmy Kimmel, host of the American Music Awards poked fun at Kevin Federline, pseudo-rapper and former husband of Britney Spears.

In the film, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) is convinced that was born with a big purpose in life, but he never thought it would be that big!

In addition to Stiller, Night at the Museum also stars Carla Gugino, Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Bill Cobbs, Ricky Gervais, Kim Raver and Robin Williams.

This Week’s Music Releases

Each year, a compilation disc is released for the Beatles, and this year is now exception.

Love was produced by Sir George Martin.  The 26-song collection was created at the same time as the musical show of the same name that is performed by Cirque du Soleil.

The Irish band U2 is releasing their own compilation CD entitled Singles.  The 16 songs were taken from the quartet’s 26-year career.

    Velvet Revolver Working on New Release

    Velvet Revolver is formed by some of the former members of Guns ‘N Roses and the Stone Temple Pilots.  The band is currently working with well-known producer Brendan O’Brien (Audioslave, Pearl Jam).

    Matt Sorum wrote a message on the group’s website saying that the next Velvet Revolver disc is on the way.  He wrote, "Rome was not built in a day, so I believe everyone will be very happy when [the album is] finished."

    Velvet Revolver’s first CD, Contraband, was released with enormous success in 2004.

    No Doubt Plans Next Disc

    No Doubt’s singer, Gwen Stefani, told MTV that her solo work is no indication that No Doubt is finished.  On the contrary, Stefani said that she is anxious for the next No Doubt CD.

    The singer, who will be releasing her second solo disc, The Sweet Escape, on December 5, explained, "I can’t predict anything, but I don’t plan on making another one of these solo dance-project records."

    She added, "I definitely feel myself going back to No Doubt after this to do a No Doubt record."

    Eric Bana To Join Eva Green and Nicole Kidman

    During a recent interview with the French magazine Studio, the female star of the latest James Bond film, Eva Green, revealed that she will star with Bana, Kevin Bacon and John Hurt in a feature film.

    The Golden Compass is the first of a trilogy called "His Dark Materials", written by Philip Pullman.  The film adaptation is expected to be in theatres on December 7, 2007.

    The film follows the story of a young woman who travels to the far north to save her friend.  Along the way, she encounters strange creatures and characters in a parallel universe.

    Angelina Jolie’s Bodyguards Arrested

    The incident took place in India, where Jolie is filming the movie A Mighty Heart.

    The three men were accused of violence against children in a school were scenes for the A Mighty Heart were being filmed.  The Anjuman-e-Islam school in Bombay became chaotic at the end of the school day.  When the gates were opened for parents to collect their children, members of the paparazzi stormed the school for shots of the star.

    Mohammed Yusuf Patni, a school official, said, "Children were pushed around. Mothers were also shoved aside by the guards."

    The film’s producers blame the confusion on the opening of the doors, which caused a panic within.

    The last incident involving a member of Jolie’s entourage was when an Associated Press photographer claimed that Jolie’s guard had threatened him with a gun.

    Gillian Anderson Gives Birth to a Boy

    Oscar Griffiths was born on November 1.  He is the second child for the actress.  Anderson, who starred in the former television series X-Files, and her child are doing well.

    Anderson, 38, lives in London with her boyfriend, business man Mark Griffiths.  The actress plans to take a few months away from work to spend time with her family.

    Cruise and Holmes Say ‘I Do’

    The Church of Scientology wedding took place in Italy, in the Odescalchi castle, which was lit with torches and candles for the long-awaited ceremony.

    The two stars were dressed in Armani and exchanged Cartier rings.  The beautiful ceremony included the music of Andre Bocelli.

    The wedding took place 19 months after the two began dating.

    The couple flew out of Rome for a honeymoon in the Maldives.
