Hilary Swank is In Love

Swank, who starred in the films Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don’t Cry, among others, shared the news with In Style magazine, which goes on sale Friday.  The actress explained, "I’m in a relationship with a great guy who’s not a public person, and I want to respect that. But yes, I am in a relationship."

According to the magazine, the new love of the Oscar-winning actress is agent, John Campisi.

The 32 year-old star announced that she was divorcing Chad Lowe in January 2006, after eight years of marriage.  The two did not have children.

Monday, the actress became the 2,325th person to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The People’s Choice Awards

The 33rd annual awards gala was held on Tuesday, and crowned the second installment of the pirate series a winner.

Actor Johnny Depp earned the titles of best actor, best actor in an action film and best couple, along with co-star Keira Knightley.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest was chosen best film and best drama.

The event, which recognizes winners chosen by the public, also honoured Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Rascall Flatts, Nickelback, Justin Timberlake, Eva Longoria and Patrick Dempsey.

Britney and Paris Lead the Worst Dressed Pack

For the 47th year, stylist Richard Blackwell has revealed his list of the worst dressed celebrities of the year.  The two blonde Americans are sharing the top rung.  "Two peas in an overexposed pod," Blackwell said of the skimpy attire worn by the two celebutantes he called the "Screamgirls."

Another noteable name on Blackwell’s list is Camilla Parker-Bowles, the wife of Prince Charles.  Blackwell refers to Parker-Bowles as, "A royal wreck."

In the third spot on the list is American actress Lindsay Lohan, who Blackwell says has gone, "from adorable to deplorable."

Among the celebrities who were praised for their style by Blackwell were actresses Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie and Helen Mirren, and singers Barbra Streisand and Beyonce Knowles.

James Cameron Plans Next Project

The Canadian director will be working on the film Avatar, which begins filming in April, and should be released in the summer of 2009.  The new production will be filmed in 3D, with state-of-the-art technology. 

Avatar is the story of a paraplegic ex-Marine, Jake Sully, who is brought to another planet, and finds himself in a battle with the inhabitants and culture.

Australian actor Sam Worthington, who is best known in his country for his films Somersault and Dirty Deeds, will play Jake Sully.

Justin and Scarlett Are More Than Friends

Last week, rumours began circulating that Diaz and Timberlake had broken up in December.  Now, we are learning the possible reason behind the split.  The singer is now dating Johansson, who starred in the film Lost in Translation, among other films.

Johansson, who recently starred in a video for Timberlake’s song What Goes Around Comes Around, recently began dating the former ‘N Sync singer.  Timberlake also attended the premiere of his latest film, Alpha Dog, with his mother, but met Johansson after the premiere.

Kylie Minogue Named Best Dressed

The 38 year-old star was honoured with the title by the readers of the UK’s Glamour magazine.  For the singer, it is a climb of 25 positions from last year’s poll, which allowed her to de-throne supermodel Kate Moss.

This year, Moss fell to fourth place.  Her boyfriend, singer Pete Doherty, was given the unenviable title of worst dressed male celebrity.

Minogue was followed by Victoria Beckham, who holds second place.  The former Spice Girl is now the wife of footballer David Beckham, who was named best dressed male celebrity.

Nicole Richie was named third on the list, and rounding out fifth place was actress Sienna Miller.

Mike Myers to Play Who Drummer

The star of the Austin Powers films has joined the cast of the film See Me Feel Me (Keith Moon Naked for Pleasure), which should be in theatres in 2009.

The project’s co-producer, Nigel Sinclair, confirmed that Myers will be a part of the production, and added that Roger Daltrey, the singer for The Who, was also happy that Myers will play Moon.  Sinclair explained, "Roger’s dream was to have Mike as the creative force to pull the project together."

Keith Moon was considered to be one of the most original and unusual drummers in the history of rock and roll.  He died at the age of 32 after overdosing on medication that had been prescribed to treat his alcoholism.

Spears and Federline Make Temporary Custoday Agreement

According to the website TMZ, the two have made a temporary agreement for the month of January.

Spears, 25, will have the children for the majority of the time.  Federline, 28, will be allowed to visit the boys, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 4 months, three times each week for four hours until the end of January.

When Spears filed for a divorce on November 7, she asked for full custody of the children.  The following day, Federline responded with the same request.

Celine Dion is Leaving Las Vegas

December 15 will mark the final performance by the French-Canadian singer at Caesars Palace.

Since March, 2003, Dion has performed more than 500 shows for $100 million.  A fourth year was added to the original contract.

In a statement, Dion said, "As we prepare ourselves to say goodbye, I know this will be the best year yet."

The final year will bring some changes to the show, including new costumes.  At the end of January, the show, entitled A New Day, will be recorded for a televised special and DVD.

It’s Over for Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson

The two stars, who had been dating since the release of their film You, Me & Dupree, are no longer together.  Hudson divorced singer Chris Hudson at the same time that she began her romance with Wilson.

According to the Star, the two stars split after Wilson refused to make a commitment to the relationship.  Wilson also refused to welcome 2007 with Hudson.
